Prophecy of Madness: Demons now respawn more quickly in the Madness variant of this skirmish.

Certain Stronghold vouchers can now properly be donated to Stronghold coffers.
Various companions once again show their Sword Coast Adventures dice in their tooltips.

Fangbreaker Island, New Tier 3 dungeon

Travel to Fangbreaker Island, a Frost Giant stronghold to confront Drufi in this brand new tier 3 dungeon (item level 3100) with an emphasis on unique and interesting boss mechanics. Along the way encounter a Manticore and Dragon turtle, then storm the stronghold itself, defeating the Frost Giants’ foothold in the North.

Ostorian Relics, item progression system

The ancient kingdom of the giants, Ostoria, fell thousands of years ago, collapsing under the stresses of the wars against the dragons and betrayal from within the ranks of the giants themselves. Almost all of the great treasures the giants accumulated during their rule are now lost, but not all.

With a new tier of armor comes the chance to restore powerful pieces of equipment to resist the potent effects from the Ring of Winter that lies in the hands of the Frost Giants.

Content and Environment

Castle Never: Orcus name is no longer visible while he is flying
Castle Never: updated Demon Prince of Being Dead achievement to make sure support characters get proper credit for killing Orcus
Mold on the cheese wheels have been cut away and now have a proper cheesy texture again. Delicious.
Prophecy of Madness: Corrected a bug with the Prophecy of Madness skirmish (demonic incursion) where the timer failed to reset if the team achieved gold in phase 1.
Prophecy of Madness: Reduced respawn time of encounters in Prophecy of Madness skirmish (protect the prophecy).
Sharandar: Resolved an issue with areas where players are not scaled to the proper level.
There is now an hourly event on rotation for Stronghold Siege. Playing while this event is active gives an additional 50% Glory and +1 Banner of the Fallen.



User Interface

The login screens have an updated background and UI treatment.
Bank: Account Shared Bank slot maximum has been increased by 40 slots.
Bank: Personal Bank slot maximum has increased by 32 slots.
Collections: The Artifact pages have been condensed. This may affect your collection points.
Collections: The Trade Bar store collection page has been updated.
Guild Alliances: Leaders now have the option to set visits to alliances by invites only if desired.
Invocation: There is now a small UI indicator underneath the character portrait when a player has bonus AD similar to when there is bonus Glory, this is to support the related Invocation changes.
Queues
Players who logout and log back in will now be properly be put back into the queue and party instead of being a Schrodinger's party member both in and out of the party depending on perspective.
There is now a Vote Abandon feature that allows a player to initiate a vote with all active players in the map. If the vote succeeds all players will be notified that the map is shutting down and no leaver penalty will be applied. This option is only available in PvE content.
There is now a tooltip when trying to join a queue you are still in an instance for to notify of this case.
When an event that expires is required by a queue all players waiting in that queue will be kicked out of it instead of remaining and being led to believe it may still start. This affects Demogorgon, Tiamat and many weekly event queues.
When looking at the details of a queue an average wait time will be displayed when available.
While in a queued instance if the event that is required to be running to queue for that instance ends the 'Looking for group reinforcements' will no longer display to show no more help is coming instead of misleading players.
Resolved an issue where intractable items would not show their FX in rare occasions.
Zen Market: Resolved an issue where coupons could be consumed even when reclaiming a free product such as a mount.
Zen Market: Resolved a case where visiting the Zen Market with a coupon in the inventory could show an incorrect price for some item as if the coupon would provide a discount but does not.



Items and Economy

Adamant Rejuvenation Surcoat: A new healing focused Devoted Cleric Masterwork Chest.
Armor Kits and Jewels: Text added to Armor Kits and Jewels that show the Item Level increase they add to armor. This is a visual change, no function changes have occurred.
Champion's Battle Horn: No longer puts player in a combat stance when out of combat.
Controller's Celestial Cowl: This item from the Control Wizard Class Pack no longer has a class requirement.
Companions
Cultist of Air companion is now named Elemental Air Cultist, to match his item and collection name.
Elemental Air Cultist's active power has been adjusted to no longer require player to be low health to trigger."
Companions with Combat Advantage active companion bonuses (Blink Dog, Staldorf, and Intellect Devourer) have had these powers changed to combine additively rather than multiplicatively. As such, players using these may notice slight reductions in the combat advantage bonus provided by these powers.
Fixes to several companions with Rank 30 abilities that weren't triggering such as the Priestess of Sehanine, Acolyte of Kelemvore and the Repentant Cultist.
Harper Bard: Now works as intended, as a Leader companion.
Renegade Illusionist: Now works as intended, as a Striker companion.
Sergeant Knox: Now works as intended, as a Defender companion.
Wandering Scarecrow: Now works as intended, as a Striker companion.
Demonic Ichor: The weekly cap for Demonic Ichor has been removed.
Elemental Evil campaign reward armors now all have an Armor Enchantment slot. If there was an Armor Kit slotted in any existing items it will be in the Armor Enchantment slot but can be removed or destroyed, then reapplied as desired.
Enchantments
Slightly increased the stats you get from the three-stat enchantments (Black Ice, Demonic, and Draconic) to make them competitive with the one and two stat enchantments.
Bronzewood Enchantment: Rank 12 of this Enchantment will now properly apply the 10% damage reduction and 5% increased incoming damage on the target.
Drain Overload Enchantments: Drastically reduced the power of the 4 Stronghold PvP AP and Stamina Drain Overload Enchantments. (The corresponding 4 wards and 2 boons are scaled proportionally.)
Fireburst, Frostburn, Thunderhead, and Bloodtheft armor enchantments from Lesser to Transcendent have had all their internal cooldowns reduced.
Frost Enchantment: Fixed an issue where higher ranks of Frost Enchantment could cause unintended massive damage increases.
Frostburn Enchantments: In addition to its other properties, all ranks of the Frostburn Enchantment now slow the attacker (players and NPCs) by 30% as part of the effect.
Lightning Enchantments: In addition to its other properties, all ranks of the Lightning Enchantment now reduce all cooldowns by 2% for the first lightning strike, plus an additional 1% for each chain.
Identification Scrolls: All identification scrolls stack to 999 (up from 99).
Illusionist's Mask: A new legendary rank has been added to the Illusionist's Mask as part of the next Masquerade of Liars event. The epic rank of the artifact can now take basic refinement and Masquerade refinement to be upgraded, and the mask acquires an activated power when it is upgraded to legendary.
Insignias: Rare and Epic Insignias can now be donated to the Stronghold Coffer.
Insignia Bonuses
Five new bonus powers have been added to the game!
Assassin's Covenant: This new bonus requires a Regal, and two Enlightened insignia. You lose 10% of Defense, Deflection and Life Steal and gain the combination lost as Power.
Barbarian's Revelry/Delight: Updated the tooltip to list that the effect can only occur once every 2s. This is just a tooltip update.
Berserker's Rage: This new bonus requires a Barbed and two Illuminated insignia. While you have full Action Points, you gain 10% of your Armor Penetration as Power.
Combatant's Maneuver: This new bonus requires an Illuminated and two Regal insignia. Whenever you control an enemy, you gain 5% combat Advantage damage for 10 seconds.
Slayer's Redemption: This new bonus requires an enlightened and two crescent insignia. Whenever you kill a target, you are healed for 10% of your maximum Hit Points over 5 seconds.
Victim's Preservation: This new bonus requires a Crescent and two Barbed insignia. Whenever you take more than 35% of your maximum Hit Points before any mitigation in a single attack, you are healed for 10% of your maximum Hit Points over 5 seconds. This cannot occur once every 10 seconds.
Invocation now gives a Rough AD bonus instead of granting Rough AD directly. The bonus Rough AD awarded is moderately larger than what was previously granted as straight Rough AD. General Invoking while playing other Rough AD generating activities will see a reasonable increase in AD earned, while Invoking only will see a drastic decrease.
Maze Engine Campaign: Adjusted prices for the armor sets. The prices are now 4,000 supplies for the lowest tier, 5,000 supplies for the medium tier, and 6,000 supplies for the highest tier.
Oghma's Release has been renamed Oghma's Token of Free Movement, to match rest of the set.
PvP Equipment
Grim equipment is no longer available for purchase at the Trade of Blades.
Seals of Triumph have been removed from the cost of Lionsmane armor.
The cost of Burning equipment has been reduced.
The number of Fallen Banners required to purchase Lionsmane armor pieces has been halved.
Rings of Ambush, Sieging, and Charging Bull: The wording has been changed to state "When you have been running" instead of When you have been moving."This means that moving very slowly (such as when you are running into a wall) will cause the effects to stop, and the effects will no longer apply while you are mounted. Note that most Slow will not cause you to move slowly enough on their own to prevent these effects from firing.
Salvage values for Neverwinter have not been very consistent. Now that we're adding a new tier of gear, we really want to streamline what items gave. Going forward, all items of level 130+ that are salvageable will have their salvage value determined by rarity and size (Small/Medium/Large) only. (Small = Neck, Waist, Ring, Shirt, Pants; Medium = Arms, Feet, Head, Offhand; Large = Body, Mainhand) In practice, the biggest effect of these changes is that some rings have gone down in value and some Elemental/Protector seal gear has gone up.
Seals of Triumph
The amount of Seals of Triumph awarded for winning a daily domination match has been increased from 1 to 60.
The amount of Seals of Triumph in the cost of items has been adjusted based on therelated changes.
The cap for Seals of Triumph has been increased from 500 seals to 1200.
Star Metal Gauntlet and Adamantine Gauntlet tooltips now accurately display the rewards they can retrieve.
Tradebar Store
Dusk equipment has been moved from the "current" tab in the Trade Bar store's equipment section to the "legacy" tab.
Goat Companion is now available in the Trade Bar Store!
Grim equipment is now available for purchase in the Trade Bar store.
Shard of Shadowclad Enchantment is now available at the Seal Vendor.
Worn Gauntlets: For players who have misplaced their Worn Guantlets, they are now available in the profession vendors. They are only visible for those that need them.

Following up on the changes from the last module we have continued class balance focusing on classes that were in most need of some tuning with an intent to create more powers be viable and fun to use as well as many quality of life improvements.

Classes and Balance

General
Insignia Bonuses: Are now properly affected by healing debuffs, such as Healing Depression in PvP.
Insignia Bonuses: Magistrate's Patience: The damage dealt by this power is now properly considered Damage Over Time damage.
Great Weapon Fighter
Hidden Daggers: Now generates an appropriate amount of AP, instead of a very small amount.
Sure Strike: Removed the reference to reducing your damage when hitting multiple targets, as this functionality was removed previously. Also fixed the final strike in the combo to respect this change.
Wicked Strike: Removed the reference to reducing your damage when hitting multiple targets, as this functionality was removed previously. Also fixed the final strike in the combo to respect this change.
Guardian Fighter
Aggravating Strike: Range increased to 12', up from 11'.
Anvil of Doom
Increased the delay between when you activate the power and when you can swing again by 0.3s. The amount of time between when you activate the power and when you can move is unchanged.
No longer deals double damage to targets below 40% health. Instead, deals full damage again over 5 seconds to targets below 50% health.
Range increased to 12', up from 11'.
Recharge time reduced to 15s, down from 16s.
Should have an easier time hitting targets at steep angles.
Bull Charge: This power was unintentionally receiving 20% more damage per rank up, instead of the stated 10% per rank up. This has been corrected, however, the base damage of the power has also been increased ~10%. Net change at Rank 4 is a damage reduction of ~10%.
Cleave: Cone radius increased to 200°, up from 180°.
Cleave: Now generates 5% of your Stamina per swing, as long as you are hitting at least 1 target.
Combat Superiority: No longer grants 10% bonus damage to the target. Instead, now grants 5% bonus damage to the target and the target will deal 5% less damage to you. Ranking up this power will now increase both of these effects by 1% for every rank.
Combat Superiority: No longer lasts 5s for each Rank of the power. Instead, lasts 8s at all ranks. Additionally, Rank 5 of the Conqueror Feat Tactical Superiority will no longer cause this effect to be "always on."
Commander's Strike
Increased the damage at Rank 1, and decreased the damage bonus gained for Rank Ups to 10%, down from 15%. Net effect is ~10% more damage at Rank 1, and a very slight damage increase at Rank 4.
Now generates Action Points at roughly the same rate as other Encounter powers, instead of generating no Action Points.
Now has an activation time of 0.8s, instead of having no activation time.
Range reduced to 12', down from 13'.
Recharge time increased to 12s, up from 10s.
Reworked the buff this power provides. First, instead of triggering the one-shot bonus damage from any damage dealing power, it now only triggers from Encounter powers, insuring a decent amount of damage is dealt. Second, instead of only working against the specific target that was hit by Commander's Strike, it now triggers when hitting any Marked target. This should make it easier for your allies to find an appropriate target to get the benefit. The buff duration is no longer increased by ranking this power up.
This power is now properly affected by damage buffs, debuffs, and damage resistances.
Crescendo: Increased the damage of the first for hits by 25%. This has increased the overall damage of this power by ~10%.
Crushing Surge: Range increased to 12', up from 11'.
Desperate Survival: Increased the HP threshold at Rank 1 to 35%, up from 30%. This means at Rank 4, the threshold is now 50%, up from 45%.
Desperate Survival: Now grants 3% Deflect chance at Rank 1, up from 1%. Fixed the tooltip to not say 1/2/3%. This means the amount of Deflect granted at Rank 4 is now 6%, up from 4%.
Enduring Warrior: In addition to its existing effects, now also increases the amount of healing you receive.
Enforced Threat
Damage increased ~50%.
Recharge time reduced to 14s, down from 15s.
Target cap reduced to 10, down from 20.
Updated the rank up information to show that this power gains an additional 10% damage per rank. This is the existing behavior, and this is just a display change.
Feats
Balanced Shield Fighter: Now properly states "Aggravating Strike" instead of "Stab."
Brawling Warrior: Now works with Rank 4 Knight's Valor.
Grit: Now properly triggered by Crushing Surge and Fighter's Recovery.
Improved Reaction feat: No longer shared with the Great Weapon Fighter. Replaced with a new Feat, Iron Focus. Has the same effect on Ferocious Reaction as Improved Reaction did, but also grants Frontline Surge a chance (100% at max rank) to Taunt and Mark affected targets. The Great Weapon Fighter Feat Improved Reaction is unchanged.
Jagged Blades feat: Now actually deals the amount of damage it states. Previously, this power did about 2/3 of the stated damage. In addition, it deals this damage over 10s, instead of over 15s.
Powerful Strike feat: In addition to its current effect, now also causes Line Breaker Assault to lower its recharge time for every target hit.
Shield Slam: Range increased to 12', up from 11'.
Staying Power feat: This debuff should now last the same length as the base debuff provided by Weapon Master's Strike.
Staying Power: Improved tooltip wording.
Tactical Superiority feat: No longer causes Combat Superiority to be "always on" at Rank 5 of this Feat. Instead, now grants a 1% damage bonus per rank at all times.
Wrathful Warrior: Reworked implementation to be much more reliable.
Ferocious Reaction: Base cooldown reduced to 3 minutes, and rank ups now only reduce the cooldown by 30s. This means the cooldown at rank 4 has been decreased to 90s, down from 120s.
Ferocious Reaction: Updated the tooltip to clarify that the damage resistance buff lasts 10s, not 5s as previously stated.
Flourish
Damage increased ~12%.
Now requires a target to activate, so you will be less likely to miss.
Range increased to 18', up from 17'.
Recharge time reduced to 13s, down from 14s.
Frontline Surge
Damage increased ~34%.
Increased the delay between when you activate the power and when you can swing again by 0.2s. The amount of time between when you activate the power and when you can move is unchanged, and now matches the swing delay.
Is now properly considered Area of Effect damage.
Now affected by the newly renamed Protector Feat, Iron Focus (previously Improved Reaction). This Feat now grants a chance (100% at max rank) to Taunt and Mark affected targets.
Recharge time reduced to 14s, down from 19s.
Griffon's Wrath
No longer gains bonus charges when ranking up. Instead, starts with 3 charges at Rank 1, and gains damage on rank up.
Now refills a charge every 12s, down from every 15s.
Now requires a target to activate, so you will be less likely to miss.
Range increased to 12', up from 11'.
Indomitable Strength
Damage increased ~8%.
Increased the damage debuff to 20%, up from 10%.
Range increased to 15', up from 11'.
Into the Fray
No longer increases damage by a percentage of your damage resistance. Now grants a flat +15% damage bonus, + 5% more per rank.
Now also increases the amount of Temp HP conversion with each rank up.
Into the Fray: No longer locks you in place during activation.
Knight's Challenge: Now only increases your damage against other player by 50%, instead of 100%. Unchanged against critters.
Kneebreaker
Now deals an additional burst of damage on the first hit. This has increased the total damage dealt by this power by ~17% at Rank 4.
Now deals damage every 1s, instead of every 0.5s, but the damage per tick has been doubled. This change has no effect on the total damage dealt, just the number of combat floaters on the screen.
Now requires a target to activate, so you will be less likely to miss.
Range increased to 12', up from 11'.
Line Breaker Assault
This power has had a large overhaul in functionality. Instead of dealing damage in an area around the end of your movement, you now deal damage to the targets you move through. It gains additional benefit from the Tactician Feat Powerful Strike.
Activation time has been reduced to 0.7s, down from 1s.No longer gains bonus damage based on the number of targets hit, and now gains 10% bonus damage per rank instead of 20%. However, the base damage has been increased greatly, such that damage at Rank 4 has been increased by ~43%.
No longer generates additional AP when hitting multiple targets.
No longer generates damage resistance based on the number of targets hit. Instead, always grants 10% DR. Additionally, this buff no longer increases in duration as the power is ranked up.
Now Dazes targets for 2s.
Now has a range of 30', up from 25'.
Now has a target cap of 5, down from 10.
Lunging Strike
Acquiring Rank 4 of this power will now properly increase its range by 5'.
Damage to secondary targets increased to 2/3, up from 1/3.
No longer generates additional AP when hitting multiple targets.
Recharge time increased to 12s, up from 8s.
Using this power near the maximum range of the lunge will now bring you closer to the target, and should not leave you out of range of your other powers (unless your target is moving away from you fast enough to get back out of range).
Steel Blitz: No longer secretly gets an increased chance to proc based on the number of targets hit. Now has a base chance of 25% to proc. FX reworked slightly to account for these changes.
Steel Blitz: Now deals 60% of weapon damage, instead of the "at least 50%" formula it was using before, and gains +5% Weapon Damage with every rank, instead of increasing the overall damage by 12%. Net result is slightly more damage unless you have a weapon that is lower level than you are.
Steel Defense: Reduced immunity duration to 2s +0.5s per rank up (3.5s max), down from 3s +1s per rank up (6s max).
Steel Grace: Power has been reworked, and is no longer shared with the Great Weapon Fighter. Now increases your Run Speed, Deflection Chance, and Crit Chance.
Supremacy of Steel: No longer lists a cooldown in the tooltip.
Supremacy of Steel: Now also increases your Deflection Chance by 10% while active.
Terrifying Impact
No longer causes a cast bar to appear for part of the activation.
Reduced total activation time to 1.2s, down from 1.65s.
Updated the tooltip to show that this power actually has a 5' cylinder, not a 4.5' cylinder.
Threatening Rush: Activation time reduced to 0.8s, down from 1s.
Threatening Rush: Damage increased ~18%.
Tide of Iron: Damage increased ~28%.
Tide of Iron: Range increased to 12', up from 11'.
Tide of Iron: The Damage Resistance debuff now only applies for the caster, instead of the entire party.
Villain's Menace: Activation time reduced from 1.8s down to 1.6s, and it can now combo into other powers 0.4s early. This means if you cast Villain's Menace and immediately start activating other powers, you will be able to start them as early as 1.2s after activation.
Villain's Menace: Buff duration reduced to 7s + 1s per rank up, down from 8s + 2s per rank up.
Weapon Master's Strike
Reduced the activation time to 1s, down from 1.2s, and made it possible for this power to chain back to back more quickly. These changes have increased the DPS of this power by ~20%.
Reworked the timing of the second hits damage to be more in sync with the animation & FX.
Roughly doubled the base damage this power deals, but halved the damage dealt to secondary targets. Net result is that this power deals roughly the same damage to secondary targets, but double damage to the primary target.
The second strike of this power is now properly affected by the damage debuff applied by this power.
Hunter Ranger
Aimed Shot
Charge time further reduced by 0.5s, down to 1s at Rank 4. Damage of the actual hit reduced slightly, but damage per cast time increased ~23%.
Charging this power is no longer interrupted by taking damage.
It should now be easier to chain other powers after casting Aimed Shot.
Aimed Strike: Reapplying the DoT will no longer start the tick timer over. This will prevent clipping the DoT, ensuring the same overall DPS, instead of allowing DPS to be reduced by accidentally clipping the DoT.
Aimed Shot: No longer displays "Aimed Shot" on screen every time you fire the power.
Ambush
Increased damage bonus for Encounter powers to 15%, up from 10%.
No longer rapidly triggers the proc effect of Swiftness of the Fox while Ambush is active.
Now has less of a reduction when applying bonus damage to an AoE power. It now deals half of the normal bonus, instead of a third.
Recharge time reduced to 15s, down from 18s.
Should now always consume the on-next-hit damage when the next time a power deals damage.
Targets damaged by your Ambush now take additional damage from your Encounter powers for 5 seconds.
The Ambush effect is no longer cancelled by movement.
The bonus damage caused by this power has had its base damage increased by ~67%. This means players with low-quality gear will see as much as a 10% damage increase, while players with high-quality gear will see a much smaller increase.
The bonus damage caused by this power no longer groups into the same damage floater as the power that triggers it.
No longer falls off immediately if you have a DoT on someone.
Artifact Class Feature: Aimed Shot/Aimed Strike: Now properly grants the bonus when using Aimed Shot Rank 4.
Aspect of the Falcon: Now also increases your Ranged powers damage based on the distance to your target. Damage is increased by 1% for every 5'away you are from your target.
Aspect of the Falcon: Rank 4 now properly increases your range by an additional 3'.
Aspect of the Pack: Rank 4 now properly increases the range of the power, instead of decreasing it.
Aspect of the Serpent: Stacks will only be consumed by powers that actually deal damage. This means powers such as Stag Heart or Hawk Eye will build stacks, but not consume them.
Aspect of the Serpent: The triggered effect of Careful Attack will no longer grant a stack of Aspect of the Serpent.
Battle Crazed feat: Now grants bonus melee damage with every stack as well. Duration increased to 6s, up from 3s.
Battle Crazed feat: Now grants Deflection Chance instead of Life Steal Chance.
Bear Trap
Activation time reduced to 0.67s, down from 0.75s.
Now causes the target to bleed for 5 seconds. The total damage of this bleed is equivalent to the initial damage. The Feat, Advanced Stalking, now increases the damage of this bleed.
Now slows the target for 5 seconds, in addition to the momentary stun. The Feat, Advanced Stalking, no longer provides a slow effect to this power.
No longer has 2 charges that replenish every 15s. Instead, now has a 10s recharge time.
No longer locks you in place during activation.
Range reduced to 30', down from 80'.
Binding Arrow
Activation time reduced to 0.7s, down from 1s.
Damage dealt to secondary targets now receive full damage bonuses from the caster. This includes critical hit damage, however, the secondary hit will not be considered a separate critical hit.
Increased the base damage of this power by ~67%. This means players with low-quality gear will see as much as a 10% DPS increase, while players with high-quality gear will see a much smaller increase.

Clear The Ground:
Activate time of the third strike reduced from 0.6s to 0.5s. Increased damage of second and third strikes of this combo. These changes have increased the overall DPS of the combo by ~35%.

This powers activation is no longer cancelled by all other power activations.
Cold Steel Hurricane
Increased the base damage of this power by ~67%. This means players with low-quality gear will see as much as a 10% DPS increase, while players with high-quality gear will see a much smaller increase.
Now properly reports that it has a 60' range. Previously, the UI reported 40'.
Overall damage further increased by ~33%.
This power will now dissipate if it hits 10 total targets along its path.
Total activation time reduced to 1.5s, down from 2s. This allows you to move much more quickly after the power has fired.
Commanding Shot
In addition to the base damage increase, damage further increased ~300%.
Increased the base damage of this power by ~67%. This means players with low-quality gear will see as much as a 9% DPS increase, while players with high-quality gear will see a much smaller increase.
Recharge time reduced to 15s, down from 18s.
Reworked the debuff this power applies, and reduced its duration. Reduced the damage debuff component to 10%, down from 15%. Changed the defense component from lowering their defenses by 15% to increasing the damage they take by 10%. This changes where in the formula the damage increase takes place, and this power can cause the target to take increased damage even if you have enough Armor Penetration to completely ignore their Damage Resistance.
The debuff should no longer fail to work in certain situations.
The rank up effect now only grants the debuff +1s, down from +2s.
Constricting Arrow: Increased the base damage of this power by ~67%. This means players with low-quality gear will see as much as a 10% DPS increase, while players with high-quality gear will see a much smaller increase.
Constricting Arrow: Recharge time reduced to 15s, down from 18s.
Cordon of Arrows: Now generates an appropriate amount of AP, instead of a very small amount.
Crushing Roots: The Daze effect can no longer be deflected.
Disruptive Shot: The Daze component of this power can no longer be deflected.
Electric Shot:
Increased the base damage of this power by ~67%. This means players with low-quality gear will see as much as a 10% DPS increase, while players with high-quality gear will see a much smaller increase.
Reduced the activation time of each shot by 0.3s. This has increased the overall DPS of the combo by ~33%.
Damage increased ~33%.
Feats
Advanced Stalking: No longer causes Bear Trap to slow the target. Instead, it increases the damage of the bleed that Bear Trap now applies.
Biting Snares: The Master Trapper effect can no longer proc multiple times by rapidly switching stances.
Blade Hurricane: Now lasts 2 seconds, instead of just 1 At-Will attack.
Blade Hurricane: Now triggers off using any melee Encounter power, instead of dealing damage with a melee Encounter power. This means every melee Encounter power should now trigger this Feat.
Fluid Hunter: Now also increases your Crit Chance by the same amount as it increases your Deflect Chance.
Forestbond: When used in conjunction with Thorned Roots, the recharge reduction granted would be doubled. This has been fixed, and Forestbond will now always grant a 5% reduction, regardless of whether you are using Strong Grasping Roots or Thorned Roots.
Hasty Retreat: Now also increases your movement speed by a small amount at all times, in addition to the existing proc effect.
Longshot: Damage dealt by this feat increased to 20/40/60/80/100% of Weapon Damage, up from 10/20/30/40/50%. In addition, this is now actually piercing damage, instead of having an undocumented feature of behaving somewhat like Piercing damage.
Lucky Blades: Tooltip properly reports a 6s duration, instead of listing 4s.
Lucky Blades: When Lucky Blades is triggered, it now also increases your Encounter power damage by 3/6/9/12/15%.
Piercing Blades: Now deals 10/20/30/40/50% bonus damage as Piercing Damage, up from 8/16/24/32/40%.
Plant Growth: The first hit of damage this power deals is now considered melee damage, instead of a DoT. This means it can now proc Blade Storm, and is affected by various Feats that only affect melee damage.
Predator: Now increases damage against your Prey by 50%, up from 40%.
Predator: This Feat is no longer half as effective against players.
Scoundrel Training: No longer affects the damage displayed on the tooltips of your At-Will powers.
Scything Blade: Now causes you to deal an additional 1/2/3/4/5% more melee damage at all times, in addition to the existing bonus damage based on nearby foes.
Swiftness of the Fox: No longer triggers multiple times when hitting multiple targets.
Swiftness of the Fox: Now triggers from more powers. Ranged Encounter and At-Will powers reduce the cooldown of your Melee Encounter powers, and vice versa. Daily powers reduce the cooldown of all of your Encounter powers.
Thorned Roots: After upgrading to Thorned Roots, there would be a slight delay before they would apply compared to Strong Grasping Roots. This has been remedied, and Thorned Roots now applies just as quickly as Strong Grasping Roots.
Thorned Roots: When striking a target that is immune to control, Thorned Roots stated that it would deal a bonus 250% Weapon Damage up front. However, it was actually dealing 2 ticks of damage, one at 175% of Weapon Damage, and one at 50% of Weapon Damage per rank of Thorned Roots, for a maximum total of 425% Weapon Damage at Rank 5. This has been changed to now do 1 tick of damage for 200% + 50% per rank, for a maximum of 450% at Rank 5. The tooltip has been updated with these numbers, and has been clarified to state that this is in addition to the DoT.
Thorned Roots: When used in conjunction with the Class Feature Crushing Roots, Thorned Roots would apply the Daze twice. In most cases, this would manifest as just causing the Daze to last about 0.1s longer. This has been fixed.
Unflinching Aim: Aimed Shot now reduces the cooldown of your currently recharging Encounter powers (no longer just Ranged powers) by 0.2/0.4/0.6/0.8/1.0s (up from 0.1/0.2/0.3/0.4/0.5s).
Unflinching Aim: In addition to its current functionality of increasing your Ranged Damage, this Feat now causes your hits from Aimed Shot to reduce the recharge time of your currently recharging Ranged Powers.
Warden's Courage: Now also reduces the damage resistance penalty of Throw Caution by 1/2/3/4/5%.
Wilds Medicine: No longer affected by healing depression twice in PvP, just once.
Forest Ghost: Can now strike the same target once per second, instead of only once per activation.
Forest Meditation: Base recharge time reduced to 40s, down from 45s. This means at Rank 4, the Recharge time is 30s, down from 35s.
Forest Meditation: This power can now be deactivated by pressing the button again. Has a slight delay at activation to prevent accidentally deactivating it via button mashing.
Fox Shift: The speed debuffs and buffs caused by this power no longer have a slight variance to their duration.
Grasping Roots (Weak & Strong), Thorned Roots: The Root effect can no longer be deflected.
Gushing Wound
Fixed an issue where, if the target was able to quickly move away or get out of line of sight immediately after taking the initial hit, the bleed would not apply. The bleed should now be applied if the target takes the initial hit.
Initial hit damage increased ~200%. Bleed damage increased ~10%.
Now requires a target to activate, which should prevent activating it near a target, but not actually hitting anyone.
Now triggers the proc effect of Blade Hurricane when the damage is dealt, instead of ~1s too early.
Ranged decreased to 15', down from 16'.
Hawk Shot: Damage further increased by ~37%.
Hawkeye: Damage dealt by this Power no longer receives double benefit from damage buffs.
Hindering Shot: Charge refill time reduced to 12s, down from 15s.
Hindering Shot: Now generates an appropriate amount of AP, instead of a very small amount.
Longstrider Shot: Buff no longer stacks if rapidly reapplied.
Longstrider Shot: Damage further increased by ~45%.
Oak Skin: The tooltip now properly reports the total amount this power heals you for over the duration of the buff.
Pathfinder's Action: Now grants 5% Deflection Chance per rank as stated, instead of only granting 13% at Rank 4.
Piercing Blades feat: Now truly deals piercing damage again, meaning the additional damage is determined based on the unmitigated damage of the attack.
Rain of Swords: No longer procs Blade Hurricane/Flurry on every tick of damage, just the initial hit.
Rapid Strike: Increased the damage of the first 3 hits of the combo by ~30%, increasing the overall damage of the combo by ~20%.
Split Shot
The Area of Effect targeting FX now more accurately represent the area that will be hit.
Decreased the amount of time required to reach maximum charge by 0.25s.
Split Shot: Increased the damage dealt at minimum charge by ~10%.
Split Strike: Damage increased ~40%.
Split the Sky: Activation time reduced to 1.5s, down from 2s.
Split the Sky: Reduced base recharge time to 18s, down from 22s.
Steel Breeze: Recharge time reduced to 14s, down from 16s.
Strong Grasping Roots, Thorned Roots: The spiral roots/vines VFX should now display the entire duration of the Root, instead of ending early.
Thorn Strike: Damage increased ~33%. Damage reduction for striking more than 1 target reduced to 5% per target, down from 7.5%.
Thorn Strike: Recharge time reduced to 8s, down from 14s.
Thorned Roots: The damage over time component of this power no longer has its duration reduced by control resistances, nor is its duration increased by control bonuses. If you apply Thorned Roots to a target, then all of the ticks of damage will apply to them, even if the Root effect is removed earlier. Targets that are completely immune to Roots still get the individual burst of damage instead of the DoT.
Thorned Roots: Updated the tooltip to make it clear that it deals damage based on your Main Hand weapon.
Throw Caution
Damage resistance debuff reduced by 10% (now 15% at Rank 4, down from 25%).
Now deals damage to a single target in addition to its existing effects. Animation/FX updated to match this new functionality.
Recharge time reduced to 12s, down from 20s.
Weak Grasping Roots: Now plays one of the standard immobilized/rooted VFX on the target while they are affected.
Scourge Warlock
Artifact Class Features
All-Consuming Curse: Now works with All-Consuming Curse Rank 4.
Deadly Curse: Now deals the damage it states in the tooltip, instead of considerably less.
Flames of Empowerment: Updated to match new new version of Flames of Empowerment. Now further increases the damage of Flames of Empowerment by 1% per stack.
Prince of Hell: Now increases Damage Resistance by 5%, instead of Defense Rating.
Snuff Out: Now causes Snuff Out to have a 50% chance to grant an additional Soul Spark when a target dies within range, instead of granting 150 Life Steal Rating.
Accursed Souls: Now applies Lesser Curse to all affected targets, in addition to its existing effects.
Arms of Hadar
Damage increased ~14%.
Damage increased ~40%.
Now properly has a target cap of 5, instead of 6.
Prone time is now 1 second, instead of ending almost immediately.
Range increased to 35', up from 29'.
Repositioned the FX so that the hit area and the FX area match up much more accurately. Also tweaked the hit timing to be more in sync with when the FX actually hit the target.
Blades of Vanquished Armies
Increased radius to 13', up from 11'.
No longer locks you in place while you cast the spell.
No longer toggles off when you are Stunned or Dazed.
Now increases your Deflection Chance while active. Amount of Deflection increases with each rank up, starting at 10% at rank 1, and reaching 25% at rank 4.
The swirling blade FX should start drawing sooner, so you shouldn't see targets taking damage before the FX start drawing.
Borrowed Time: Added clarification to the tooltip to make it clear that this Class Feature only triggers when Soul Sparks heal you at the end of combat.
Brood of Hadar: Spawned broodlings now deal additional damage over time, equal to double the initial damage they deal.
Brood of Hadar: The combat log for this power will now display "Brood of Hadar's Bite" instead of "Melee Attack" when your spawned broodlings deal damage.
Curse Bite: Damage increased ~33%.
Curse Bite: Rank 4 of this power now properly reduces the cooldown by 1 second.
Dark One's Blessing: In addition to its current effect, this power now also increases Life Steal Chance and Life Steal Severity.
Deadly Curse: Increased the base damage dealt when applying your Warlock's Curse, but reduced the rank up benefits to 10% per rank, down from 12% per rank. Net result at rank 4 is a ~35% damage increase.
Dreadtheft
No longer consumes Curses. Instead, now has a similar effect as a Curse Synergy. While you are using Dreadtheft, affected Cursed targets take increased damage from all sources, and you gain damage resistance based on the number of Cursed targets hit. Both of these effects stop occurring when you stop maintaining Dreadtheft.
The stacks generated by Curse Synergy with Dreadtheft now cap at 3, down from 5. However, the amount of Damage Resistance granted by each stack has been increased.
Updated the rank up information to properly state that it increases the Damage Resistance Debuff by 5% per rank, not 3% as previously stated.
Will now properly grant its Curse Synergy effects if a curse is applied after Dreadtheft has started."
Eldritch Blast
Increased the damage of the first hit of this combo by ~33%.
Reduced the activation time of the second attack to 0.6s, down from 0.78s. Reduced the activation time of the third attack to 1s, down from 1.2s. This has increased the overall DPS of the combo by ~23%.
The Area of Effect damage applied by the third strike of this power no longer has twice as much damage variance as the rest of this power. In addition, the Area of Effect damage and hit reacts are no longer delayed slightly.
Essence Defiler: Increased activation time of the first strike slightly, but decreased overall activation time for the combo to 1.8s, down from 2.2s. This has increased the overall DPS of the combo by ~22%.
Feats
Aura of Despair: Radius increased to 50', up from 20'.
Burning Puppets: In addition to its existing effect, now causes your Soul Puppers to deal 2/4/6/8/10% more damage to targets affected by Lesser Curse.
Creeping Death: Can now proc when hitting a target affected by any of your Curses, instead of just Warlock's Curse and Tyrannical Curse. This means Lesser Curses and Warlock's Bargain will now enable Creeping Death.
Creeping Death: Instead of triggering off any necrotic damage dealt by you, this Feat now triggers off of any damage dealt by your At-Will, Encounter, and Daily powers. This means more powers now work with this (powers that deal Fire damage, such as Hellish Rebuke, Killing Flames, and Immolation Spirits), but certain triggers from Class Features and other Feats will no longer proc small amounts of damage (for example, it no longer procs from Deadly Curse, Critical Promise, or Executioner's Gift).
Creeping Death: Now deals its damage over 6 seconds (4 times, once every 1.5s) instead of over 8 seconds (4 times, once every 2s).
Creeping Death: The damage dealt by this power is now properly considered a Damage over Time (DoT) effect.
Critical Promise: Damage increased to 10% per rank, up from 2% per rank.
Daughter's Promises: Having this Feat will no longer place an additional debuff icon on Cursed targets.
Daughter's Promises: Now hits up to 3 targets, and the radius has been increased to 25', up from 15'.
Executioner's Gift: No longer procs a second damage effect. Instead, directly increases the damage of your At-Will and Encounter powers when a target is missing health.
Gatekeeper's Empowerment: Now increases the damage of Gates of Hell by 5/10/15/20/25%, up from 1/2/3/4/5%.
Gatekeeper's Empowerment: Reworked the way the bonus AP works. Previously, it listed this bonus as a percentage of your total Action Points, instead of as a modifier on the amount of AP the power grants. Reworded this so it shows as a modifier, and increased the amount it granted. This now means a Rank 4 Gates of Hell with max ranks of this Feat will grant about 20% more AP per target killed than previously.
Hope Stealer: On Crit, now grants 1% Life Steal Chance and 1% Life Steal Severity per rank, instead of just an amount of Life Steal Rating.
Killing Curse: Damage increased to 3% per rank, up from 1%.
Killing Curse: No longer causes an additional proc for 0 damage when used in conjunction with Creeping Death.
Mocking Spirit: Now also causes your Soul Puppet to gain an additional 10% of your max HP per rank.
Offering to the Prisoner: Having this Feat will no longer place an additional debuff icon on Cursed targets.
Parting Blasphemy: Damage increased to 10% per rank, up from 1.2%.
Parting Blasphemy: Fixed an issue where sometimes the caster would take damage from this Feat.
Relentless Curse: Redesigned. Now has a 20% chance per rank to apply Lesser Curse to a target when you remove your Warlock's Curse from that target.
Soul Bonding: When using Vampiric Embrace on a target that is affected by a Curse, the Area of Effect heal component of the Vampiric Embrace will now trigger properly.
Soul Desecration: Now also increases the movement speed of your Soul Puppet. Tooltip updated to not use the word "permanent" as the Soul Puppet can still die.
Soul Reaping: Now grants 1% Life Steal Chance per rank, instead of an amount of Life Steal Rating.
Sparkbinder: Now also causes your Immolation Spirits to gain an additional 5% of your max HP per rank.
Spiritfire: The damage dealt by this Feat is now Fire damage, instead of Physical damage.
Spiritfire: The damage dealt by this Feat was previously dealing a percentage of your weapon damage plus a base damage value, which lead to the Feat description being inaccurate. The base damage has been removed, and the weapon damage dealt has been increased to 15% per rank. This result is a buff for all weapons above Common quality.
Syphoning Curse: Now a heal over time. Provides the same amount of healing as it used to every second for 3 seconds. This means it now heals for 3 times as much total.
Wrathful Souls: Now affects the damage of Spiritfire.
Aura of Cruelty: Radius increased to 50', up from 20'. Now only affects teammates, including companions and other summoned pets, such as Soul Puppets and Immolation Spirits.
Wrathful Souls: Previously, the amount of healing you received from the damage dealt by your Soul Puppet was much lower than the tooltip stated. This has been fixed. However, the amount stated in the tooltip has also been reduced to 2% per rank, down from 3% per rank. The net change is still a large increase in the amount of healing provided by this Feat.
Fiery Bolt
Damage increased ~33%.
No longer causes a cast bar to appear for part of the powers activation.
Reduced base recharge time to 12s, down from 14s.
Reduced the total activation time of this power to 1.1s, down from 1.75s.
The Curse Consume effect has been replaced with a Curse Synergy effect. Curse Synergy now causes secondary targets to take full damage.
Flames of Empowerment: No longer increases your damage when your AP is full. Instead, applies a debuff to your target when you hit them with an At-Will power. This debuff increases the damage you deal to the target by 2% (+1% per rank, to a max of 5%), and stacks up to 3 times.
Flames of Phlegethos: Damage increased ~40%.
Gatekeeper's Empowerment: No longer affects Flames of Empowerment. Instead, now increases the DoT damage of Hellish Rebuke by 5/10/15/20/25%.
Gates of Hell
Activation time further reduced to 1.9s, down from 2.2s.
Now Knocks targets Prone as well.
Prone time is now 1.5 seconds, instead of ending almost immediately.
Reduced the total time between starting this power and damage being dealt to 2.9s, down from 5.35s. Also improved the syncing of the actual damage application and FX beam.
The FX for this power now display properly to enemy players.
The knockback done by this power can now properly be resisted.
Gates of Hell: Increased the amount of bonus AP from killing targets per rankup to +20%, from +13.3%.
Hadar's Grasp: Previously, the Curse Consume behavior stated that it doubled the duration of the lift. However, this is not what it did. Instead, it increased the duration by 50% and applied a stacking debuff that would lower the targets damage resistance from armor by 3% for every stack. For players that did not have enough Armor Penetration to fully negate all damage resistance from armor, this could be fairly powerful. For anyone that had enough Armor Penetration, this debuff would do nothing. As such, we have changed the behavior and updated the tooltip accordingly. The new behavior for the Warlock's Curse Consume is: Increases the duration of the lift by 50%, and causes the target to take 15% more damage from Curses and Soul Puppets. This effect does not stack.
Hand of Blight
Changed the range of the melee version of the power to 15'. Previously, it reported as having a 20' range, but actually would only work at 10' range.
Fixed the rank-up descriptions to state "Debuff: +1%" instead of "Buff: +1%" as this power causes a debuff, not a buff.
Reduced total activation time of the melee combo by 0.25s. This has increased the overall DPS of the melee combo by ~15%.
Reduced total activation time of the ranged combo by 0.25s. This has increased the overall DPS of the ranged combo by ~10%.
Harrowstorm
Damage increased ~50%.
Reduced base recharge time to 12s, down from 16s.
The previously mentioned 50% damage buff should actually work now. In addition, the damage reported on the tooltip should be accurate.
This power will now properly attach to the target again, and it will no longer create extraneous FX when hitting multiple targets.
Hellish Rebuke
DoT damage increased another 50%.
No longer refreshes the duration of the debuff when the target attacks you. Instead, deals another blast of damage equal to the initial damage dealt by the power. This additional damage can only be dealt to a target once every 2 seconds.
Quadrupled the damage of the initial hit, and reduced the damage of the DoT by 20%. Overall, this increases the damage dealt by this power by ~10%.
Reduced the activation time to 0.8s, down from 1.2s.
The damage reflect component of this power can now be triggered on each target once per second, up from once per 2 seconds.
Immolation Spirits
Are now able to attack sooner after being summoned.
No longer consumes Soul Sparks or gains bonus damage or damage resistance based on consuming them. Instead, base damage of the summoned critters attacks has been increased by 50%, and their attacks have a 50% chance to grant you a Soul Spark. As they no longer receive bonus damage resistance, they now always have 50% damage resistance, up from their old base of 34% at level 70.
No longer have a max HP of 25,000 in all circumstances. Instead, they have a base amount of HP based on their level, and gain 25% of the casters max HP. Their max HP can be further modified by the Sparkbinder Feat.
The combat log for this power will now display "Immolation Spirit" instead of "Immolating Blast" when your spawned spirits deal damage.
Infernal Spheres
Fixed the rank-up descriptions to say Spheres instead of Darts.
No longer attacks enemies that get near you. Instead, sends a sphere out to targets that attack you.
No longer creates additional spheres when you are low on health. Instead, the spheres heal you for 25% of the damage they deal. When you are below 50% HP, this healing increases to 50% of the damage dealt.
Now grants you 5% Damage Resistance for each sphere surrounding you. This power can now be toggled off so that you don't have to wait for all spheres to fire before being able to recast it.
Now regenerates a sphere every 5s while the power is active. Running out of spheres will cause the power to deactivate. Alternatively, you may activate the power again to cause all remaining spheres to explode, dealing damage around you.
Once again, can perform critical strikes.
Infernal Spheres: Rank 4 now actually provides an additional Sphere, as stated in the rank-up description.
Infernal Spheres: Will only fire off a sphere every 0.5s now, up from every 0.25s.
Killing Flames: Minimum damage increased ~67%. Maximum damage is unchanged, but damage ramping has increased, such that maximum damage is now reached when the target is at or below 25% HP, instead of at 0 HP.
Killing Flames: Rank 4 of this power now properly reduces the cooldown by 1 second, instead of increasing it by 2 seconds.
Lesser Curse: Damage increased ~25%.
Lesser Curse: Should no longer fall off immediately after applying in certain circumstances. This was most noticeable with the new version of Accursed Souls, and should no longer occur.
Mechanic: Curse Consume: Renamed to Warlock's Curse Consume. Now only triggers from and consumes Warlock's Curse, not Lesser Curse or Tyrannical Curse. This will allow you to have more control over when you want these effects, and won't remove curses you don't want removed.
Murderous Flames feat: Now works with Killing Flames Rank 4.
Murderous Flames: Damage dealt by this Feat no longer receives double benefit from damage buffs.
No Pity, No Mercy: In addition to its current effect on Combat Advantage, this power now changes the way Hellish Rebuke functions. With this Class Feature slotted, Hellish Rebuke no longer deals damage over time. Instead, the initial hit of damage and any damage reflects caused by Hellish Rebuke deal 50% more damage.
Pillar of Power: This power has had a slight rework. Now always casts under your feet, instead of needing to be placed. Recharge time now starts as soon as you cast it instead of when the effect ends, and has been reduced to 10s, down from 15s. You may only have 1 Pillar of Power active at a time, so recasting it while it is still active will move it to your current location. The effects of the Pillar have changed, as well. In addition to increasing your damage, it now also grants you damage resistance while you stand within it. The Pillar no longer builds up and explodes when an enemy enters it. Instead, it lowers the enemies damage and damage resistance, and deals damage to them.
Pillar of Power: Radius increased to 13', up from 10'.
Power of the Nine: Now extends to the new Damage Resistance buff, in addition to the Damage buff.
Prince of Hell: No longer increases your Armor Penetration stat by 10%. Instead, directly increases your Resistance Ignored and Life Steal Chance by 5%, plus 1% per rank.
Shadow Slip
Increased speed by 15%.
Now provides damage immunity for 1 second after activation, and loses 20% damage resistance per second while it is active, down to a minimum of 40% (this timer persist through rapid reapplications).
Now starts off granting 60% damage resistance when activated. This value then decreases by 5% every 0.5s, down to a minimum of 40%. This value is maintained between rapid reapplications.
Shadow Walk: No longer increases your movement speed while Shadow Slipping. Instead, increases your movement speed at all times, and grants a small amount of Deflection Chance and Life Steal Chance.
Snuff Out: No longer has a cooldown. Ranks now increase the range where this can trigger.
Soul Puppets
No longer affected by various buffs intended for difficult enemy critters. This includes Epic Dungeon buffs, certain Heroic Encounter buffs, and some others of this nature.
No longer have a max HP of 25,000 in all circumstances. Instead, they have a base amount of HP based on their level, and gain 25% of the casters max HP. Their max HP can be further modified by the Mocking Spirits Feat.
No longer innately receive an additional 10% damage resistance. Instead, they now gain bonus damage resistance equal to the amount of non-temporary damage resistance the caster has. This will be equal to the base number reported in the "Defensive" section of your Character Sheet.
No longer sometimes receive large amounts of damage resistance from Immolation Spirits.
Now gain 100% of your non-temporary Deflection, Life Steal and Resistance percentages.
The buff provided to Soul Puppets when you try to summon another one while one is still active is now called Soul Investiture. This buff now displays on the Soul Puppet, and you can see how many stacks are currently active.
Soul Scorch: Now properly generates Action Points.
Soul Sparks: No longer display the words "Soul Spark" whenever you gain one.
Soul Sparks: No longer immediately consumed when combat ends. Instead, one is consumed every 0.5s you are out of combat. This means at full stacks (30) it will take 15 seconds for them all to be consumed. If you re-enter combat, the passive consumption of Soul Sparks will stop.
Soul Investiture: Now affects the damage of Spiritfire.
Tyrannical Curse
The initial damage dealt by this power will now properly be affected by damage buffs, debuffs, and immunities.
Was actually increasing the damage you deal to the target by ~40%, instead of the stated 20%. Now properly only increases your damage by 20%.
Your regular Warlock's Curse can be placed alongside this power now. However, the damage increase caused by Tyrannical Curse and Warlock's Curse do not stack.
Tyrannical Threat: Renamed to Tyrannical Curse. No longer causes your normal Warlock's Curse to be replaced by Tyrannical Curse. Instead, immediately casts Tyrannical Curse on your target. This means you can no longer have multiple targets affected by Tyrannical Curse at the same time.
Vampiric Embrace
Damage increased ~60%.
Reduced base recharge time to 14s, down from 16s.
Reduced total activation time to 0.6s, down from 0.78s.
Warlock's Bargain: Activation time reduced to 1.1s, down from 1.3s.
Warlock's Bargain: Updated tooltip wording to just read "Warlock's Bargain is a curse" to match the changes to how Curse Consume now works.
Warlock's Curse
No longer grants less of a benefit when on multiple targets.
Now has a short activation time, but you can still move freely while using this power. This is to resolve an issue that could arise during rapid reapplications of a power with no activation time.
Soul Puppets damage is now increased by this Curse.
Wraith's Shadow: Damage of the DoT increased ~20%.
Wraith's Shadow: Ending the power early will now summon a Soul Puppet, in addition to the existing Immobilize effect.

Trade Bar Store: The epic-quality Manticore mount can now be purchased in the Tarmalune Trade Bar store.



Zen Market

Enchanted Keys and Frostborn Gloves: The tooltip now properly lists the gloves, instead of boots, for Scourge Warlock and Trickster Rogue.
Frostborn Set: The 1-set bonus now properly grants the additional chance to gain an additional Ostorian Relic.
Players who completed the Ostorian Relic intro quest, but did not receive Ostorian Resin, are now properly granted the Resin.
Upon logging in, it will appear in the Crafting Resources bag.



Art, Animation, and Graphics

Certain Dwarven beards that had lost their color have been restored to their former glory.

Bryn Shander: The quest path now leads through terrain less frequently.
Campaign: Liberate Bryn Shander no longer awards an unused currency; this currency no longer shows up in the Wealth tab of the Inventory.

Items and Economy

Storm King's Thunder

Archaeologist's Trowel: This item now requires both "Secrets of Ostorian Relics" and "Restore Bryn Shander's Economy" to purchase.
Items in the campaign store are now properly visible even before they're unlocked, allowing players to better plan out and strategize their campaign progress.
This also reveals sources of Everfrost Resistance that previously appeared hidden.
Prestige Body Armor now properly has Defense values competitive with similar items in its Item Level range.
Relic gear icons have been adjusted to better match their in-game appearance.
Relic and Frostborn equipment now grant the same stats when in a fully discharged state that they would grant in Tier 1.
Scourge Warlocks can now properly purchase pants and shirts in the campaign store.



General

Players with Artifacts that were previously stuck in a permanent "cooling down" state will now see those artifacts' cooldowns tick down again.



Zen Market

Frostborn and Warborn gear now shows their locations in Collections.
Frostborn armor set bonuses now apply on entering a Storm King's Thunder map, rather than having to unequip and re-equip set pieces to apply them.
Shared Bank Slots: The maximum value of Shared Bank Slots in the purchase description has been updated to match a previous increase.
To alleviate confusion, the 20 Keys and Frostborn / Warborn Gloves purchases have had their text updated to clarify the behavior on opening.





User Interface

Sword Coast Chronicle

Currency counters in individual campaign tasks no longer occasionally project a subtle line that draws to the corner of the screen.
Icons for currencies now consistently load in the footer of individual Campaign screens.
Storm King's Thunder now has an updated campaign image.
Well of Dragons now appears after Dread Ring in the campaign list.





Graphics, Effects, and Animation

Enemies and Allies

Certain Dwarf beards that had changed with the Storm King's Thunder release have been re-restored.
The new version of this beard has been made available in Character Creation and the Tower of Alteration.
Frost Giant Runewielders now properly hold their shields, rather than levitating them.
Frost Giants now consistently have blue or white beard colors.
The warlock in Lonelywood is now wearing more weather-appropriate clothing.

A portion of the Ten-Towns Supplies awarded by the meta-quest to complete a certain number of Daily Quests has been moved to those Daily Quests themselves.
Completing exactly enough Dailies to finish the meta-quest results in the character gaining the same number of supplies as before this update.
This allows players who want to engage in more dailies to gain a little bit of extra Ten-Towns Supplies.
Headsman Raid Vambraces: The backs of characters' arms no longer often clip through this item.
Relic gear now displays properly on Dragonborn players.
Ten-Towns Supplies costs from Rare quality Shirt and Pants slot items, as well as the Armor Kit, have been reduced.
Ten-Towns Supplies costs for potions and trowels have been removed.
The Consumables store now has more items.
The drop rate of the Manticore Talon artifact from Hati has been increased; it had previously been lower than intended.
When picking up Ostorian Relic node loot, it no longer incorrectly has the chance to be an unopened pack.
Any packs still in a character's inventory are now bound.
(This change went into effect last week.)
Packs can be opened if the character has a qualifying Trowel item in their inventory.



Mounts

Embellished Apparatus of Gond now has a place in Collections.
Mounts acquired from the Jarl's Mount Pack in the Runic Lockbox now properly grant credit in Collections.



Professions

The Alchemy profession now has a Rank 25 task to create Distilled Potions of Grand Healing.
This recipe can be acquired through Rank 25 Experimentation.
The Rank 7 Experimentation task in Alchemy no longer persists after the player has graduated to Rank 8 or beyond.



Zen Market

Knox's Adventurer Recruitment Order: Oathbound Paladins created via this purchase no longer incorrectly start with a tiny Invocation-style Astral Diamond bonus.
Knox's Adventurer Recruitment Order: Hunter Rangers created via this purchase no longer incorrectly start with their items in the second bag, rather than the first.
Legendary Dragon Key: New dungeons have been added to the list in the item description.
This is a tooltip change only.
The Shared Bank Slot purchase now states the proper limit of 88 total slots.



General

A certain event item no longer grants unexpected Attribute bonuses to certain classes.
Demonic, Gigantic, Black Ice, and Draconic Enchantments now properly provide stats when equipped to Companion gear.
Elemental Evil: Characters who completed all of the quests in that campaign, but ended up one Twisted Scripture short of the final task, now have that Twisted Scripture in their inventory.
Fey Blessing Enchantment ranks 11 and 12 now give the expected Item Level.
Ring of Ambush: This item's effect now has a 20 second internal cooldown, starting when the stealth effect is cancelled.
Known issue: The tooltip currently states that the ICD is 30 seconds.
Ring of Ambush: The detection radius for this item's effect has been increased to 30 feet, up from 20.
Ring of Ambush: NPC enemies now detect players from the correct distance when under the effect of this item's stealth ability.
Unrestored Relic Armor can now be salvaged for a small reward.





User Interface

Campaigns

Respen's Game: Completing all four tasks now properly grants 100% completion.
That subtle line that sometimes connected an individual campaign task's currency to the upper-left corner of the screen has gone away.
Storm King's Thunder: The tasks required to unlock the Trowel purchase now explicitly state which tasks must be completed.



Character Sheet

Everfrost Resistance is now represented on the Character Sheet.
Known issue: Everfrost Resistance gained from Boons is currently not reflected on the Character Sheet.
It still properly functions in combat and counts toward Fangbreaker Island entry requirements.



Inventory

Certain unusable items no longer incorrectly display in the Riches tab of the inventory.

Tutorial: The Hunter Ranger dodge power tutorial now properly says "shift" instead of "roll."





Upcoming Events

Siege of Neverwinter

Medals of Heroism now go to the Wealth bag instead of the inventory.
Quartermaster's Enchantments now give information about what they can potentially drop.
Stronghold Vouchers will drop a little less frequently in this event.
(There should still be plenty.)
The Champion's Banner artifact now properly has secondary and tertiary stats as appropriate for a given rank and quality.



General

Call to Arms: Gate Crashers: Several minor fixes have been made, including enemies displaying levels and the boss having a more graceful entry.
Coins of Waukeen: The behavior of this event while in a party has been smoothed out; event items should more consistently appear for everyone, rather than just one person.
Double Seals: Seals of the Adventurer now properly double during this event.

The crate in Bryn Shander no longer allows the player to discard the Uncommon-quality Trowel.
It only grants the player a Common-quality Trowel if they do not already have one.



Mounts

Tenser's Floating Disk: Dodge-cancelling out of summoning this mount no longer locks the player in place.



General

Briartwine Enchantment: Ranks 11 and 12 now give the proper Item Level.
Maze Engine Campaign Store: Purchasing and opening an Armor Package (e.g. Elemental Air or Dread Armor) on one class now unlocks that same pack to reclaim for free on all other classes.
Ring of Ambush: The tooltip on this item now properly shows a cooldown of 20 seconds.

Campaign Extension: Storm King's Thunder

With the Sea of Moving Ice having opened up, the top of the Storm King's Thunder campaign has thawed! Win the awe of the factions operating in the area and earn new rewards, including up to two more points for the top-tier campaign boons.



Sea Travel

Getting from place to place in the Sea of Moving Ice requires one to be able to navigate the icy waters, and what better way than with a khyek? These personal-sized conveyances are the perfect way to get from shore to shore, with some fun new gameplay in between!

New Epic Trial: Svardborg

The frost giant Jarl Storvald has made his stronghold in Svardborg, a fortress in the Sea of Moving Ice. Face him in his lair and recover the Ring of Winter for the good of the Realms!

New Rewards

With more places to go and monsters to slay, there is also more treasure to claim! New pieces of Artifact Equipment, an Artifact, and a Companion are newly available.



In addition, adventurers in possession of relic armor may now see the armor restored to its full glory. Completely restored relic armor, or "vivified" relic armor, will increase by 10 item levels at each empowerment rank.

The first time Svardborg (Master) is cleared in a week you will receive an Ostorian Tale Carving.
Ostorian Tale Carvings may be exchanged for testimonies at the newly arrived Historian in Bryn Shander.
With the proper testimony in hand, selecting "restore" in the context menu on a piece of relic armor will allow that piece to be converted into "vivified relic armor."
All transmutes, dyes, enchants, and armor kits on the original relic armor piece will persist during the upgrade process.
The item level will increase by 10 at every empowerment rank.
Fully empowered "vivified relic armor" is item level 160 while standard relic armor is item level 150 when fully empowered.



Removal of Legacy Set Bonuses

As part of our efforts to rein in runaway power sources, we have removed set bonuses from level 60 equipment that has been unobtainable since the release of Module 6: Elemental Evil.

Content and Environment

Elemental Evil

The final task of the Elemental Evil campaign now properly requires all four tracks to be completed before it can be started.



General

Fangbreaker Island: Catti-brie has an additional bit of optional dialog at the end of this dungeon, once complete.
Icewind Dale: If players donate currencies to their Stronghold coffer while on the quest, The Long Night, they are now able to progress by returning the next day to complete daily quests.
Icewind Dale: Return on Investment can now be dropped.
Dropping this quest prevents it from being taken or auto-granted again for another day.
Several instanced maps have received minor visual and audio polish and fixes.
Storm King's Thunder: Fishing nodes no longer get into a non-interactive state when players take certain actions.
The mount tutorial quest no longer incorrectly keeps the Level Up UI active once complete.
Various quests and contact dialogs have received minor typo fixes.





Combat and Powers

Guardian Fighter

Commander's Strike no longer incorrectly causes affected teammates to deal far more bonus damage from encounter powers than intended.
This power now correctly adds +10% bonus damage, and adds an additional +10% bonus damage per rank (for a maximum of +40%).
The fourth rank of Knight's Valor now properly receives its indicated bonus.



Hunter Ranger

Players can no longer swap stances while Forest Ghost locks out powers.



Oathbound Paladin

Absolution
Absolution now grants the target 20% of their maximum hit points as a shield, up from a smaller value based on the Paladin's wepaon damage. Additional ranks now grant 10% more of the target's maximum hit points as a shield, up to a maximum of a 50% shield. The Oath of Protection bonus for this power has been adjusted to provide a 50% increase to damage resistance for the duration of the shield. Previously the bonus increased the size of the shield by a small amount.
This power now triggers effects that activate on Encounter power use.
Banishment
This power no longer makes targets immune to damage when the control component is resisted.
Binding Oath
Binding Oath now has the following effect: For 5 seconds, nearby enemies are forced to attack you and you gain 100% of your Maximum Hit Points as a Shield. When this effect expires or the shield is depleted foes in a 30' area take 100% of the damage that was taken by the shield and you take 50% of that damage. Additional ranks increase the duration of the shield by 1 second.
Binding Oath previously had the following effect: Nearby targets are forced to attack you for 2 seconds. During this time you absorb all damage dealt to you. When this effect expires you takes 50% of that damage and deal 20% of it to all foes in a 30' area. (The damage dealt to each target cannot exceed your Maximum Hit Points.) Additional ranks increased the duration of the effect by 2 seconds.
Binding Oath now properly taunts, as indicated.
Binding Oath’s damage component now affects a maximum of 5 targets, consistent with other area effect powers.
Binding Oath’s tooltip no longer incorrectly states that affected players deal 75% less damage to targets other than the paladin.
This is just a tooltip change.
Circle of Power
The effect of circle of power now lasts 10 seconds, down from 20. The cooldown of circle of power has been reduced to 28 seconds, down from 60. In accordance with this adjustment, additional ranks of this power now grant 2 additional seconds to the effect per rank, down from 4. The additional effects gained by Circle of Power when the Paladin has Oath of Devotion or Oath of Protection (30% more outgoing healing and 25% damage resistance, respectively) are now also granted to allies standing within the Circle of Power. This effect does not stack with multiple Circles of Power.
Divine Protector
Divine protector now redirects 60% of damage taken by nearby allies, down from 100%. The damage reduction effect on the Paladin has been increased to 60%, up from 50%.
Sacred Weapon
Sacred Weapon now applies Divine Challenge like other short duration Paladin taunts, which reduces damage dealt of affected players against the Paladin's allies.
The additional damage dealt by Sacred Weapon has been increased by 50%.
Sanctuary
This power now grants 80% damage resistance for those who have taken the Oath of Protection, increased from 60%.
Vow of Enmity
Additional ranks of this power now properly grant an increase in damage against affected targets.
Vow of Enmity is now a toggle power with a 10 second cooldown. Pressing Vow of Enmity after a vow has been chosen will remove the vow and trigger the cooldown. Only one target may be affected by your Vow of Enmity at a time. Previously Vow of Enmity could only be recast if the target was killed or after 60 seconds.
Several Paladin power tooltips have been updated for clarification.



Scourge Warlock

Tyrannical Curse: The damage-increasing effect of this power no longer incorrectly scales with the player's power.
The effect now consistently increases the damage affected enemies take by 20%, as indicated in the daily power.



Trickster Rogue

Impossible to Catch: This power now triggers effects that activate on Encounter power use.



Companions

General Companion Powers
Expert Striker, Expert Controller, Expert Defender and Expert Leader have been adjusted to increase your companion's class stats by 10%.
Master Striker, Master Controller, Master Defender and Master Leader have been adjusted to increase your companion's class stats by an additional 10%.
Additional defenses have been added to Master Striker.
Companions with Expert Controller now create less threat.
Ambush Drake: This companion's Deadly Infection debuff no longer scales with Power.
Ambush Drake: The Deadly Infection power now properly shows its duration in its tooltip.
Harper Bard: Song of Rest now properly increases the owner's maximum health by 10%.
Repentant Dragon Cultist: This companion's Acidic Stab debuff no longer scales with Power.
Repentant Dragon Cultist: Acidic Stab now properly shows its defense reduction value in its tooltip.



Mounts

Active mount powers are now more responsive.



General

Effects that activate when non-critical damage is dealt, such as the Owlbear Cub's Active Companion Bonus, now only activate once per power use.





Enemies and Allies

General

Dragons no longer become so indignant when affected by knock or repel powers that they refuse to continue fighting altogether.
They insist, however, that they continue to be unaffected by such powers, as no self-respecting chromatic dragon would be vulnerable to being pushed around by lowly humanoids.







Items and Economy

Changes to Artifact Weapon Stats

With the addition of relic artifact weapons, we've taken a look at the way stats progress as artifact weapons are ranked up. As a result we have resolved some long-standing issues and made the following changes and improvements:

The amount of stats granted at uncommon, rare and epic ranks of artifact weapons have been increased.
This includes stats that increase incrementally with rank, such as: power, recovery, etc.
Stats that either do not increase at all (AC on shields) or increase only with rarity/item level (weapon damage) have not been increased.
As a result of this change, the difference in power between weapons of a given item level should be more predictable.
The amount of stats on legendary artifact weapons has also increased very slightly to accommodate for the adjustments.
The effect of ranking up an artifact weapon on stats has been increased in order to create a more contiguous increase in power.
For example, the stats on a rank 34 rare artifact weapon will now be much closer to a rank 35 epic artifact weapon, (weapon damage excluded.)
An issue wherein classes that dual-wielded received less total stats from their weapons than those that did not has been resolved.
As a result, the amount of stats from bows, ranger blades and daggers has been increased.
In addition, the amount of stats granted from off hand items like sword-knots and grimoires has been reduced. However, as the stats on all artifact weapons have been increased, this decrease will only be visible on legendary rank off hand items and primary weapons stats will be increased as well.
These changes affect the following sets:

General

Baphomet's Infernal Talisman: This item no longer incorrectly shows up as a cloak on players who wear it.
Frozen Galeb Duhr is now spelled correctly in all cases.
Horn of Valhalla: This artifact is now part of the new Valhalla set, which includes a new artifact belt and cloak, and comes with a new set bonus. These items are obtainable in the Svardborg trial.
Items (such as Medal of Heroism) that have been moved to the currency tab now properly update and move to the expected location, regardless of whether they were previously in the bank.
Stronghold food: Eating food while the buff from a higher rank of food is active no longer causes the buff to disappear without applying the newly-eaten food's buff.
The following "altar" items now vanish when the player who summoned them enters combat:

The tooltip for the uncommon-quality Ostorian Trowel has been updated for clarity.
Token of Chromatic Storm: The damage values displayed on the tooltip no longer incorrectly scale with player power.
This was a display-only issue.
Token of Chromatic Storm: The damage resistance from the Acid effect no longer incorrectly scales with player power.



Enchantments, Enhancements, and Runestones

A new enchantment is available in Sea of Moving Ice content: Wicked Enchantment.
Offense: Armor Penetration, Recovery
Defense: Deflect, Hit Points
Utility: Movement, Bonus Gold
Dual-stat enchantments (Brutal, Cruel, Savage, Vicious) now properly have higher stat values at rank 3 than rank 2.
Frost Enchantment (Weapon): In addition to its other properties, all ranks of this enhancement now slow the target (players and NPCs) by 30% as part of the effect.
Bloodtheft Enchantment (Armor): A minor typo has been addressed on this enhancement.
Frostburn Enchantment (Armor): This enhancement now has an internal cooldown.
Thunderhead Enchantment (Armor): In addition to its other properties, all ranks of this enhancement now include the foe that critical strikes you, stunning and damaging them as well.
Tooltips on the Black Ice overload enchantments have been made clearer.
No functional changes have been made, just a clearer explanation of existing functionality.
Visual weapon and armor enhancements no longer display while the player is stealthed.



Professions

Tasks to create various Elemental Artifact Weapons are now available in the Artificing, Weaponsmithing, and Platesmithing professions.



Strongholds

Overload Enchantments for effectiveness against Trolls and Giants are now available in the Stronghold enchantment store.





User Interface

Auction House

Expired auctions once again consistently actually expire, rather than hanging around on the auction house in an expired state for an indeterminate period of time.
There is now a limit to the number of unclaimed items a player may have in their mail. Once this limit is reached, the player may no longer post items up for auction until they claim items from their mail.



Chat

Chat text once again properly wraps if the end of a word would go past the edge of the chat box.



Collections

Horn of Valhalla has been added to the Storm King's Thunder collection.



HUD

Pressing the Artifact key while using a ground-targeted artifact no longer causes the targeting indicator to appear.



Inventory

Insignias no longer incorrectly state that one can "double click" to improve them.
When double-clicking armor kits or jewels in the inventory, they can now properly be applied to equipped items.



Mail

Players can no longer attempt to ignore themselves via the mail UI.



Queues

In 10+ person PvE queues, tank and healer roles are now evenly distributed amongst parties.
This should result in a tank in each party in a 10-person queue, and one healer in each party in a 10- and 25-person queue, depending on how many healers are in that queue.



Sword Coast Chronicle

The PvP campaign windows now have distinct names - Starting PvP and Veteran PvP.





Foundry

General

Using a teleporter in Preview mode no longer breaks the logic and state of the currently previewed map.





Graphics, Effects, and Animation

Animations

The Giant Crab mount once again uses the proper riding animation.



Character Art

At long view distances, the magical autonomous hammer in the Dread Ring camp is no longer attached to a mysterious formless person.
Ceremonial Mask of Lliira now displays on male dragonborn characters.
Certain shirts no longer display a protruding extra neck on male player characters.
Cloaks and capes no longer seem to fly straight up in the air when viewing characters wearing them from long distances.
Gilded Moonstone Regalia Mask now displays on dragonborn characters.
Iliyanbruen Ancestral Helmet no longer removes hair from the player.
Manaseeker's Orb: This weapon now properly appears while outside of combat.
Noble Finery mask now displays on dragonborn characters.
Trailblazer's Bow: This weapon now properly displays weapon enchantments' visual effects.



Visual Effects (VFX)

Camera shake has been reduced for various visual effects.
Camera shake has been removed from various visual effects when the player is not the target of powers that display these effects.
The intent of this change is to reduce the amount of unexpected screen / camera shake during normal gameplay in certain areas while other players are fighting nearby.
Visual impact should be unchanged for players using abilities or being hit by those abilities.





Performance and Stability

General

Various improvements have been made to client performance and stability.
Various crashes and disconnect cases have been addressed.

Storm King's Thunder

Audio improvements have been made to various locations throughout various Storm King's Thunder content.
Lonelywood: Catti-brie remains visible in the wilderness until the player completes the Mielikki's Garden quest.
This should resolve cases where it is difficult or impossible to continue the quest thread if a certain quest is dropped.



Sea of Moving Ice

Breakfast of Champions: The Dragon Turtle that appears in this Heroic Encounter no longer cancels and switches its attacks partway through activation.
Casting Alarm: Scrolls are no longer attached to a player's weapon, resulting in Control Wizards reading scrolls pinned to their orb.
Ice Hunter Rescue: This Heroic Encounter no longer drops Black Ice enchantments.
The map and mini-map should no longer display graphical errors when panning and scrolling in this zone.
The Quest Path has been improved in certain locations throughout the zone.
Totems of Destruction: There are now significantly more Icehunter Totems available for this quest.
Various text and voice-over mismatches have been resolved.
When the Ancient Mariner heroic encounter is in progress, nearby regular encounters no longer spawn.
Xuna is now wearing proper attire to deal with the cold of Svardborg.



Svardborg

Enemies no longer leash when their target is killed by Permafrost.
Manticores now properly continue attacking players, rather than standing idle, after the second Call of Winter.

Storvald now properly stops attacking if all players die during the Manticore phase.
The music in the first phase of the Storvald fight no longer silences unexpectedly.

Alchemy: Players who are at a rank higher than 8 can no longer engage the Rank 8 version of the Alchemical Research task.
This caused players to get into states where they could no longer progress through the Alchemy profession.
We're looking into ways to allow players to get out of this broken state.



General

Certain Raw Astral Diamonds dungeon rewards no longer sometimes end up as a pack in the player's inventory.
Elixir of Life no longer incorrectly allows players to revive themselves.

The count of mail with attached items (e.g. expired auction lots) could previously get desynchronized with the actual number in players' mailboxes.
This issue has been addressed; players who had a low mail count, yet still couldn't post auction lots, should now be able to post.
The error message that appears when the mail limit is exceeded is now clearer about the cause.



Boons

Tyranny of Dragons: The "Learn More" button now properly sends the player to the right location.
Unspent Elemental Evil boon points now properly cause the UI to glow in the appropriate locations.



Guilds

The "Last Online" message no longer infinitely grows when hovering over an offline guild member.



Items and Inventory

Set bonuses that include two of the same item now display the proper maximum item count.
The "+1" signifier on items in reward popups no longer appears, as it has no game effect.



Mail

A command to take attached items from mail can no longer be manually run.



Powers

Powers can no longer be swapped while on a khyek.



Queues

When filling a queue after a player has dropped, the queue now properly respects the Tank / Healer / DPS count requirements.
In queues with a player count greater than 5, the system now tries to distribute those of the same role across different 5-person parties.
For example, in a 2 tank, 2 healer, 6 DPS Demogorgon Trial, the queue system will try to assign one tank, one healer, and three damage dealers to each party.



Scoreboard

Throne of the Dwarven Gods and Prophecy of Madness no longer display duplicates of the rewards they give.



Zen Market

Whenever a button appears in various parts of the UI to purchase something, but the player doesn't have enough Zen to purchase the item, it is no longer grayed out.
Instead, it allows the player to view the item that could be purchased, and then proceed to the "Buy Zen" flow if desired.



Localization

General

Various localization updates have been made to Sea of Moving Ice content in French, German, Italian, and Russian languages

Mounts

Moonbear: This mount's Insignia combination has been changed to Barbed / Illuminated / Illuminated.
This addresses an issue where it did not have any viable Insignia combinations.
Previously slotted insignias will remain slotted in this mount.
They can be removed and replaced normally.

Svardborg

Manticores no longer sometimes become temporarily stuck after the second blizzard phase elapses.
Storvald's "Call of Winter" and "Hailburst" powers can no longer hit players in the safe area outside the arena.

General

The Celestial Golden Lion's mount power, Aureal Armament, now properly functions against the Dragon Turtle in Fangbreaker Island.

Artifacts

Eye of the Giant: This artifact's tooltip text has been shortened.
No changes have been made to its functionality.

Enchantments and Runestones

Transcendent Frostburn Enchantment now correctly states its 20% chance to trigger in its tooltip.

General

Marks of Uvar now correctly state that they can be found in the Storm Giants Reputation chest, rather than Serissa's Reputation chest.





User Interface

Chat

Typing /trade now properly changes the chat channel to trade without leaving the word "trade" in the chat entry field.
/wtt, /wtb, and /wts will still leave their respective strings in the chat entry field.

Collections

Artifacts: The Collection value of the Epic quality Horn of Valhalla is now 9, reduced from 18.
This is now in line with other similar artifacts.
Companions: Manticore and Frozen Galeb Duhr are now in the Companions collection.

Fishing

The names for the Reel actions now include the word "Hold."
This should make it clearer that the player is intended to hold the key instead of tap it.
While the player is holding a Reel action, there is now an overlay on the icon to make it clear that the game has recognized the button press / hold.

HUD

Certain targetable objects no longer draw a red square instead of a targeting highlight.

Items and Inventory

Item tooltips no longer occasionally show their flavor text twice in a single tooltip.

Professions

When hovering over currencies required for Profession tasks, the tooltip now properly displays the required currency value rather than just 0.





Graphics, Animation, and Audio

General

The Apprentice Healer companion has had their sound volume lowered, and the randomization between their comments has been adjusted.
The Brightness setting now properly re-enables itself when playing in Windowed mode, if the player changes focus to a different program, then back to Neverwinter.
The Gelatinous Cube mount has had its sound volume lowered.
The Manticore companion now plays its flavor animation less frequently.
The Manticore companion has had its sound volume lowered, and its timbre has been adjusted.
The Silverback Bear mount now properly has audio on its flourish animation.
Various classes have had certain power audio adjusted.
Primarily, certain frequent-use At-Wills with "roar" or "battle cry" type sounds have been adjusted to instead use a grunt more appropriate to a quick attack.
When playing their flourish animation, horses' whinnies are now more consistent in sound.





Performance and Stability

General

The audio system has had a backend update to resolve some known crashes.
The outdated driver warning no longer calls out old 32-bit drivers if the system is 64-bit and has newer 64-bit drivers installed.
Resizing the window while streaming patch data during gameplay no longer crashes the client.
Various graphics crashes have been addressed.
Various server-side memory leaks have been addressed.

Updated Early-Game Experience

The Devoted Cleric has received some balance changes and functionality improvements in this build, and will receive a free respec as a result. If you want to try out different builds before using this respec, you may use the NeverwinterPreview shard.

Arcane Magical Writings: This ingredient has its drop rate increased in the River District's Heroic Encounters.
Kabal's Trial: The Lava Galeb Duhr has replaced the Volcanic Galeb Duhr in this instance's reward drops.
Rusted Strongboxes are now granted directly, rather than opening immediately on receipt.



Skirmish: Illusionist's Gambit

Illusionist's Gambit now awards the standard Rough Astral Diamonds for twice-daily Skirmish clears.
Players should no longer be knocked into invisible walls in certain sections of the post-knockout gauntlet.



Dungeon: Spellplague Caverns (Master)

The dungeon key chest now has a chance to drop Garb of the Ascended. This body slot equipment is equippable by all classes, and significantly increases Maximum HP while outside a party, or Life Steal rating while in a party.

Artifacts

Eye of the Giant: When this item's power is used outside of combat, it now properly grants 5% damage resistance.



Devoted Cleric

Due to the breadth and severity of these changes, Devoted Clerics will receive a free respec upon logging in after this build goes live.

Anointed Army
The amount of damage absorbed by each charge of Anointed Army has been capped at 20% of the target's maximum Hit Points. While the bug for this power was that it was mitigating 100% of incoming damage rather than the original 90%, the power will be left at 100% absorption for damage amounts at 20% of the target's maximum hit points or below, now that the amount absorbed has been capped.
The power transferred from the Cleric to party members has been reduced from 50% to 33%. This is due to there still being too much group contribution from a single power that is exclusive to one paragon path. This reduction will be partially offset by their ability to use it in conjunction with Hallowed Ground more easily, now that AP can be generated while it is active.
This power no longer grants CC immunity after all blessings have expired.
Chains of Blazing Light
This power no longer grants AP in Divine mode.
Corrected tooltip to communicate that this power increases damage by 15% per charge consumed, not 10%.
Condemning Gaze
Fixed a bug where this power could debuff more than 15% damage resistance to targets in certain cases.
Corrected tooltip to communicate that this is an area effect.
Divine Armor
Clerics can now gain Action Points immediately after using Divine Armor.
Divine Armor no longer grants Damage Resistance. Instead, it grants targets 50% of their maximum hit points as Temporary Hit Points (up from 20%) for 5 seconds, plus an additional 10% per rank, to a maximum of 80% of the target's maximum hit points.
Fixed a bug where Divine Armor was not granting additional Temporary Hit Points at additional ranks.
Divine Glow
Fixed this power to correctly increase in duration per empowered charge consumed.
Fixed this power to correctly proc weapon enchantments, racial abilities, and certain set bonuses. This fix should apply to several other powers in the game, specifically those that could target enemies but also had healing components.
Flame Strike
This power now properly triggers weapon enchantments.
Geas
Fixed a bug where this power was not granting AP on use.
Gift of Haste
Fixed a bug where this power could stack in some situations.
Guardian of Faith
This power now heals targets for 500% of its original amount.
Hastening Light
Fixed a bug where the Off-Hand Artifact Class Feature for this power was not granting AP to allies. It has also been adjusted to give 5% AP to allies over 15 seconds, down from 10% instantly.
Hallowed Ground
Clerics can now gain Action Points while Hallowed Ground is active. To compensate for this adjustment, this power now has a 45-second cooldown (can be shortened with cooldown reduction). Ideally, we would like to get rid of these "AP gain blocks" from most, if not all, Daily powers. In cases where the intent is to make a Daily non-spammable, a cooldown allows players to at least have the option to build AP to use their other Daily, if they so desire.
Lance of Faith
The third hit of this power now deals damage to nearby targets.
Living Flame
This power has been changed to grant a 5/10/15/20/25% buff to damage dealt for 8 seconds when taken below 30% hit points, rather than only granting the buff while the Cleric is below 30% hit points.
Piercing Light
Fixed this power to rank up correctly with ranks in Piercing Light.
Prophecy of Doom
Fixed a bug where this power was not granting AP on use.
Fixed a bug where this power did not instantly recharge when it killed an enemy.
Fixed a bug where this power did not increase in duration while empowered.
Fixed this power to instantly recharge if the target is killed during its duration.
Fixed this power to correctly grant AP.
Fixed this power to correctly increase in duration per empowered charge consumed.
Prophetic Action
This power now shields the Cleric against one attack for up to 100% of their maximum hit points, and additionally shields all party members against one attack for up to 25% of their maximum hit points, every 30/27/24/21 seconds.
Repurpose Soul
Fixed a bug where this power would not proc from certain powers.
This power now correctly grants 5/10/15% as described in the tooltip, up from 3/6/9%.
Searing Light
This power no longer grants AP in Divine mode, as it is not intended for any encounter powers to generate AP in this mode.
Templar's Domain
Fixed a bug where this feat could only proc once every 5 minutes. There is no longer a limit on the amount of times this feat can proc, and successive procs will refresh its duration (does not stack).
Terrifying Insight
This power no longer decreases the damage resistance of the Cleric's target. Instead, it now increases the damage dealt by all party members by 8%, with an additional 4% per rank, for a maximum of 20%.
Warding Flare
This power now shields targets for 10% of their maximum hit points for normal, divine, and empowered versions, rather than an amount based on your weapon damage.
This power now ticks every second, improved from every 1.5 seconds.
This power now affects up to 5 targets inside the affected area per tick, up from 1 randomly chosen target. The Divinity version of this power still only affects one target.
When empowered, this power also heals targets periodically in addition to shielding them, with the heal increasing by 35% per additional empowerment charge consumed.
The empowered version of this power also heals targets in addition to shielding them. The healing amount increases with each charge consumed.
The empowered version of this power no longer increases in duration per charge consumed.



Great Weapon Fighter

Unstoppable no longer becomes unusable if the player gained a significant amount of Determination in the split second between activating the power and gaining its effects.



Guardian Fighter

Supremacy of Steel: This power no longer prevents AP gain while active.



Hunter Ranger

Plant Growth no longer has a delay between activation and when damage takes place.



Oathbound Paladin

Fixed Aura of Radiance and Aura of Truth to scale properly with additional ranks.



General

The Mount Insignia bonus, Artificer's Persuasion, can no longer be activated if an artifact power is cancelled before activation.

Transcendent Plague Fire Weapon Enhancement: This enchantment's tooltip now correctly shows the damage the secondary AoE does (based on the player's Power and other damage buffs). The functionality has not changed; this is just a tooltip change.
Holy Avenger Weapon Enhancement: Clarifications have been made to this enchantment's tooltips.
Holy Avenger Weapon Enhancement: This enchantment's bonus damage value on the Transcendent proc has increased to 10%, up from 7.5%.



Mounts

Players who own the Fancy Horse can now add the Uncommon quality Gorgon mount to their stables.
Rainbow Starry Panther once again has the proper starry visual effects. This may address other mount graphical issues with a Visual FX focus.



General

Bounty Store: The Chasm: Scourge and Trickster Bounty Packs now cost 40 Blue Fire Insignias as intended.
Endurant Shard of Permafrost has seen a few updates.
The effect now persists through death.
The cooldown now properly decreases even when logged out.
Other combat consumables no longer go on a brief cooldown when the shard is used.
In order to prevent locking a consumable tray slot for 18 hours, it is no longer possible to slot this item, it can only be used from the inventory directly.
The buff icon now indicates what it does.
Mimics now drop more loot!
Most healing potions now scale in effectiveness in level-scaled content if the character's level is being increased.



User Interface

Auction House

New categories are now visible in the Auction House: Companion Equipment, Mount Packs.



Character Sheet

Players can no longer swap out equipment slots while in combat.



Companions

Certain passive stat buffs in Companion power lists now properly apply to their visible stats. For example: The 300 Critical Strike provided to the Blue Fire Eye by its power, Focused Attack.



Controls

If the player holds the Jump key and doesn't release it until after they land, they can now properly jump again before moving.
Quest Path toggling is no longer bound to a key by default. It may still be bound through the Options menu.
This change does not affect existing characters.



Zen Market

The Featured category is no longer as crowded, and the New category is no longer as dated.



Performance and Stability

General

The "d3d11Enable" command line option has been removed, as setting it to 0 made players unable to log in.
Various minor client and server performance improvements have been made.

A client crash when logging out or being disconnected with the Powers or Feats window open has been addressed.

Stronghold

The Travelling Merchant's store now requires a Rank 5 Marketplace to purchase masterwork materials, down from rank 6.
The Mysterious Merchant's store now uses different logic for its stock. This should make it consistently choose items different from the last time the Merchant had arrived.

Content and Environment
General

Mount Hotenow: Venting the Underneath: Players should now consistently be able to loot the crate of explosives.
Shroud of Souls: Morlanth no longer incorrectly resets when the player uses specific powers in her encounter.
The achievement, "The Ascended," now works as expected.
Various minor text fixes have been made throughout the game.




Items and Economy
General

Heart of the Red Dragon: This Artifact now explicitly states in its tooltip that it cannot be used to feed other Artifacts.
Stronghold Guild Hall: Certain decorations no longer completely disappear upon being replaced, and instead correctly return to the Warehouse.



Zen Market

Knox's Adventurer Recruitment Order: The tooltips in the Character Select / Character Creation screen now properly state the new Item Level of 4700.
Players who purchased the Knight of the Feywild Pack, Guardian of Neverwinter Pack, and/or Hero of the North Pack can now consistently reclaim the pack contents via the Reward Claims Agent.
Shadow Wolf: This mount can now properly and consistently be reclaimed at any time if it had been purchased during the Call to Arms: Pit Fight event.
Shadow Wolf: This mount can now be discarded, but as it cannot be reclaimed on the same character, it is not recommended to do so unless the character already has a Shadow Wolf mount in the stable.

Quest Journal Improvements

The Quest Journal has seen an update in a similar fashion to Sword Coast Chronicle in the previous module! Among the improvements are the ability to group quests by zone, to search for a specific quest, and to filter quests as well.

Armor Penetration and Damage Vulnerability Debuff Changes

A backend overhaul has been made to how Armor Penetration works, both to improve server performance and make powers interact more consistently with the stat. In addition, damage vulnerability debuffs have been made more consistent as well.

Among the changes, Armor Penetration can no longer exceed the enemy's armor value, and the 200% hard cap on damage vulnerability debuffs has been changed to a 300% soft cap, though it will be more difficult to reach the 200% point.

Shimmering Lockbox

Players who open their Adventurer's Reward box at level 20 will now receive three Shimmering Lockboxes! A pack of three free Shimmering Keys may be claimed from the Zen Market in order to open these Lockboxes.



Private PvP Queues

Players may now use the Queue system to create private PvP matches between pre-arranged teams! 5v5 and 10v10 matches are currently supported. This should allow player teams to engage in PvP under their own terms, whether for build, power, or composition testing, or just for fun or practice.

Private PvP matches do not have victory or loss rewards associated with them.

Content and Environment

General

Lair of Lostmauth: There is no longer an occluding plane causing visuals to go wonky in the entrance to the boss room.
Mount Hotenow Domination: It should now be more difficult to escape the gameplay space.
Protector's Enclave: The carpets spanning either side of the Hall of Justice fountain have been improved, as has the water in the fountain.
River District: Music now begins when spawning into the zone, rather than when crossing into the Riverfront.
Strongholds: The Milling Yard no longer incorrectly claims to boost Stone production; it now properly states that it boosts Wood production.
The audio volume of NPC speech in Bryn Shander has been boosted.
The battle cry for Pit Fiends is now a little quieter.
Various typos in a variety of content and lore have been addressed.
When players log out in the open world, they should now less frequently spawn across collision or an object.



Combat and Powers

Boons

The fifth boon task of the Underdark campaign can no longer be claimed without completing the fourth.


Classes and Balance

Another attempt to address the respec loop has been made; player characters who have recently respecced should no longer be asked to respec again upon opening the Powers UI.
Oathbound Paladin: Divine Protector now properly prevents 60% of incoming damage, rather than only 40%.
Players can no longer trigger Life Steal from damage they deal to themselves.


Piercing Damage

Certain Piercing attacks that deal damage based on another attack no longer "double-dip" damage resistance against higher-level enemies.
Example: The Hunter Ranger feat, Piercing Blades, deals an extra 50% piercing damage to an enemy.
If an attack would normally deal 200 damage, but is reduced to 150 by an enemy's level difference, then Piercing Blades now deals 75 damage (50% of the damage dealt).
Prior to this fix, Piercing Blades would deal around 56 damage (50% of the damage dealt, then reduced again by the level difference).
Piercing damage powers now work as described in (most of) their tooltips: "Piercing Damage cannot be deflected and ignores armor." This means:
Piercing damage will no longer penetrate defenses that are not armor (such as Tenacity-based defenses).
Piercing damage will now be able to benefit from damage vulnerability debuffs on the target (such as the Lantern of Revelation debuff).
The net effect should be to make these powers less overwhelming (but still potentially very strong) in PvP, and much more useful in PvE.


Companions

Armor Penetration now properly has an effect when used by Companions.
Certain Companions no longer incorrectly gradually gain stats over time.
Crab: This companion now properly plays a "near death" animation when its health is reduced to 0.
Legendary companions now give 16% stat bonus (up from 15%).
Each additional active Legendary companion now gives a stat bonus half the size of the previous one. Examples below.
Two active Legendary companions: 16 + 8 = 24%
Five active Legendary companions (Max): 16 + 8 + 4 + 2 + 1 = 31%
The Active Companion Bonus for Archons now properly counts the number of Archons a player has active.



Items and Economy

Artifacts and Artifact Weapons

Sigil of the Great Weapon: This artifact's buff icon now properly lasts the duration of the buff, rather than a steady 10 seconds regardless of debuff time.


Enchantments, Enhancements, and Runestones

A particular rank of the Eldritch Runestone no longer incorrectly affects the player with an extra share of a companion's Resilience and Movement.
Bilethorn, Lifedrinker and Plaguefire Weapon Enhancement Shards can now be purchased from the appropriate vendors with Seals.
Bronzewood Enchantment: Ranks 11 and 12 now work as described in the tooltip.
Transcendent Flaming Enchantment: The tooltip now properly states that the Fiery Attack pops when dealing damage to an enemy who already has three stacks, rather than on application of the third stack.


Professions

Characters who were stuck mid-level in Alchemy should now be fixed.


Zen Market

A new, smaller pack of Companion tokens at a lower price point is now available in the Zen Market.
Campaign boost tokens can now be traded when purchased from the Zen Market.
Elite Shadow Wolf is now consistently named Elite Shadow Wolf in the Zen Market.
New campaign boosts can now be purchased on the Zen Market!
Prices have been updated for all boosts.
The available campaigns are: Elemental Evil, The Maze Engine, and Storm King's Thunder.
The Elemental Evil campaign boost can be purchased in two varieties: One with an XP boost that brings a character to level 70 from any level 60 or above, and one without.
Power Points may now be purchased in the Zen Market in packs of 1 or 10 under the Services category. Please note that player characters cannot consume these packs if their Power Point total would be taken above 124.
The "50 Enchanted Keys & 1 Month VIP Bundle" purchase now states that it does not increase the player's VIP rank, and its benefits are based on the player's current VIP rank.


General

Illusionist's Gambit Skirmish: The drop rates for Companion rings have been adjusted for Silver and Gold tier rewards.
Seals of the Elements no longer drop from dungeons. Seals of the Protector now drop in dungeons instead.
Seals of the Elements can now be exchanged for Seals of the Protector in the Miscellaneous tab of the Seal vendor.
Various typos in a variety of items and powers have been addressed.



User Interface

Auction

Having too many items in the Overflow Bag no longer prevents players from posting auctions.


Bank

Both the Personal and Shared Banks now have Sort functionality.
The Guild Bank now properly has a sort button.


General

When players have quests in a location that requires teleportation, the Quest Path now more consistently points to the portals or other object that moves the player character.
Warning prompts when attempting to destroy enchantments are now much more prominent.


Guild

The Alliance Roster now consistently displays all players in the selected guild, even if the player's own guild has fewer members.


Hardware

Corsair keyboards with dynamic backlighting are now supported by the Neverwinter game client.
By default, the top row of keys have their lighting deplete as the player's health bar decreases.
The 1, 2, and 3 keys pulse as Daily Powers and the Artifact Power, respectively, become available.
The backlighting changes color as the player enters combat.


HUD

A new damage floater icon now appears next to damage that cannot be avoided (e.g. by dodge rolling).
CTRL + "]" now opens the most recently viewed Campaign this session.
Players may now zoom the camera in and out by scrolling the mouse wheel up and down.


Inventory

A new bag slot has been added. Players may now equip up to 7 bags, increased from 6.
The "Unlock Other Item" context menu selection for Enchanted Keys no longer appears, as it's no longer reasonably usable now that keys are in the Useful Items tab.


Journal

The "Out of Character" text style now looks better in this UI.


Options

Dropdown menus are now properly clickable when their options are outside the bounds of their parent window.
This allows players to always show their health bar in Interface -> HUD, for example.
The Boons window can now be bound to a key in the Options menu.


Zen Market

Empty categories no longer show up if the player manages to get a coupon for them.
The framerate no longer significantly drops in the Zen Market while the player is holding a coupon.
The Zen Market category list now consistently shows all banners if, for example, an entry is new, featured, and on sale all at the same time.



Art and Effects

Animation

The Lion companion no longer tilts and jitters in strange ways in certain locations.


Character Art

Certain NPC-named entries available in character creation have been renamed to "Face Long" and "Face Bulky."
Ponytail hair styles are less likely to jitter off characters' heads when running or riding quickly up and down stairs.
The standard horse tails have been improved on existing horse mounts.



Graphics, Performance, and Stability

General

An animation-related crash has been addressed.
A cap on the number of VFX objects with client-side physics has been introduced. This should improve general performance when certain powers are used.
A physics-related type of crash has been neutralized.
Various UI crashes have been updated.



Known Issues

General

If you disconnect during the loading screen after sailing from the River District Docks, please use the "Normal Login" instead of the "Safe Login" button. Using Safe Login will return your character to Protector's Enclave and require Customer Support to move your character to the appropriate story instance.


Powers

Armor Penetration stat on Companions currently does not apply to Companion damage.
Prophecy of Doom: The fix to allow Prophecy of Doom to take its own damage debuff into account was incorrectly reverted. As a result, this power currently deals less damage than expected.
