At 8:30pm UTC today, we’re going to apply a patch 1.1.5 for the PC version (Uplay & Steam) of Ghost Recon Wildlands.
This intermediary patch, is providing you with some major fixes and improvements regarding compatibility and performances.

Players in game need to reboot the game to apply the patch. Its size is up to 4 GB depending on your client.
You can still keep on playing and wait before applying the patch. An in-game notification will let you know when the patch is available.
Please note that in order to play co-op with friends, you will need to all have the same version of the game.

Please be aware that the patch will automatically download the next time you launch the game, so if you are already in a game session, you will need to reboot it to benefit from the improvements.
If you’re planning on playing tomorrow, we recommend you to preload the patch starting tonight.

Please find below an overview of main changes:


1. Multi-GPU improved support


We have been working with our partners to improve both SLI and Crossfire support. Various stuttering and graphical corruption issues have now been fixed.

2. Quad-core CPUs improved support

Several freezes and performance issues have been resolved for players using quad-core CPUs, notably Intel i5 based setups.

3. AMD graphic cards improved performances
4. Enhanced mouse navigation in store menu
5. 4K menu background scaling implemented
6. Several crash sources have been addressed
7. Improved Ansel support and fixed bugs
8. Other bug fixes & improvements.

The development team will continue to address existing issues in the next update that will be available around the end of March/early April across all platforms.

We will update this thread to let you know about the patch availability.

update 2: Patch notes

Hello Ghosts,

We would like to announce the patch notes for our Title Update 2, available on PC on March 22nd and PS4 and Xbox One on March 23rd during morning UTC. We will have a small maintenance in order to update our servers.

The development team focused on improving all areas of the game, from gameplay content to connectivity and stability tweaks. The patch size will be around 3 GB on consoles and up to 5 GB on PC, depending on your client, and an in-game notification will let you know when it’s available. Players in game will need to reboot the game to apply the patch. Please remember that in order to play co-op, all the players will need to have the same version of the game.

In addition to that, following the community feedback we received, we have implemented the option to turn off the radios in the game by default, as well as the option to choose the type of vehicle you want to spawn when using the “Drop Vehicle” rebel skill. Now you should have even more tactical options to plan and execute your missions.

Also, for those of you who love playing with the most hardcore settings and all your HUD elements turned off, we have implemented the option to choose which type intel you want to collect when interacting with files or NPCs. This way the gameplay flow won’t be interrupted and you will be able to discover new missions, skills, and weapons seamlessly, even with all the visual tips turned off.

You can find some PC specific fixes and improvements at the end of the notes. On top of other fixes, the Home, End, Insert, Delete, Page Up, and Page Down keys can now be remapped--making life easier for some players, especially the left-handed ones.

MISSIONS/NARRATION

We received reports of some players having issues with certain missions in the game. After investigating the causes, we have implemented fixes so they can now have a smooth experience. We also fixed an XP farming exploit related to the “Rebellion Rising” mission, which created interference with the co-op experience.

- Adjusted various missions markers & GPS pathfinding.
- The following missions are now unlocked correctly for players who reported issues:

* Gold Rush
* Sueño’s proposition
* Sandoval Dead body
* El Cerebro

- Adjusted various mission triggers in order to smoothen the player's progress and game experience.
- Fixed situations where dialogue and barks would not trigger correctly.
- The following missions are now replayable:

* El Cerebro
* Boss missions
* Sandoval confession
* Western cocaine cache

- Fixed infinite XP farming exploit on "Rebellion Rising" mission.
- NPCs now exit the vehicle properly in "Stop the Convoy" missions

USER INTERFACE

We implemented various fixes and tweaks related to trophy and weapon packs unlocking. We also fixed an issue related to the Charactersmith model not being positioned correctly. On top of that, players who love to play with the HUD completely hidden will now be able to select the type of intel they want to collect when they interact with files or NPCs.

- Players can now select what intel they want to collect, even with all the HUD options turned off.
- Trophy requirements adjustments:

* The Champion
* Eagle-Eyed
* With a Pistol!

- Fixed some weapon packs not unlocking properly:

* Underbarrels & Rails Pack

- Fixed Character hiding behind menus in certain situations.
- HUD now updates when XP boosters are activated.

CO-OP

We detected some replication issues during cooperative sessions between players. This patch should provide a more consistent experience between Ghosts sharing the same game session.

- Corrected various replication issues, such as:

* Paint jobs & attachments not showing correctly in the lobby
* Rebel Radio explosion not synchronizing
* Sniper scope glare effect not synchronizing
* Players seen running beside VHC/bike they should be sitting in
* Suppressor not synchronizing when removed from a vehicle’s shooting position
* Burning corpses from systemic events
* Explosion not replicating if the distance is too high

- The following achievements should now be awarded to all the players in the two missions below:

* A Better Mousetrap
* The Cluster Bomber

- Fixed a bug where hits would register with a 0.5-second lag.
- Fixed kick/ban vote notifications.
- Fixed game freezes in 4-player sessions.

CONNECTIVITY

We detected and fixed some issues that were causing some player disconnections. The experience should be more solid after the patch.

- Fixed various disconnection bugs.
- Fixed a bug where the user could not reconnect to a previous session.
- Fixed errors when looking for public sessions.
GAMEPLAY

Added fixes and improvements for gameplay-related issues and requests that some players reported.

Players can now select the vehicle they want to spawn when using the "Drop Vehicle" rebel skill.

- Fixed XP awarded when killing an enemy undetected.
- Fixed a bug where sometimes vehicle seats could stay booked after NPC exiting.
- Fixed a bug where the player would take cover too far from certain props.
- Players can no longer teleport to safe houses while being hunted.
- The Medical Helicopter will now spawn correctly in the Tabacal area side-mission.
- Fixed bikes not slowing down in water.
- Fixed flash grenades not stopping detection.
- Fixed an occasional instant game-over when falling off a dirt bike.
- Fixed a bug where sometimes the player could not tag enemies after hot joining.
- Adjusted damage caused by explosives in Arcade difficulty.
- Fixed an issue where sometimes pilots didn’t die after AI helicopter crash.
- Fixed a situation where sometimes vehicles disappeared when driving at high speeds.
AUDIO

We implemented some fixes and improvements related to some audio aspects of the game, as well as the option to mute radios for those players who requested it.

- Added a feature allowing the player to mute every radio in-game.
- Fixed Car radio not functioning in various situations.
- Amplified the radio voice effects to avoid player confusing El Sueño’s voice on the radio and the one of the Ghosts.
- Introduction video mix enhanced.

GRAPHICS

We focused on fixing various issues in order to provide a solid experience. For stability and performance improvements, see the section below.

- Fixed player models appearing with twisted limbs if they were killed in certain positions.
- Fixed low-resolution textures appearing while aiming/driving.
- Fixed camera clipping through some textures & props.
- Fixed missing textures in certain environments.
- Fixed drone showing blur effect on objects.
- Fixed the textures flickering when using parachute or helicopter.

STABILITY

- Fixed various crashes.
- Fixed an occasional infinite loading screen after validating settings at first launch.
WORLD

- Fixed various world building glitches.
- Fixed some world parts where the player could get stuck.
PC SPECIFIC IMPROVEMENTS

Graphics

- Added the SMAA anti-aliasing mode.
- Added a notification for anti-aliasing recommendations in multi GPU setups.
- Addressed a series of issues causing flickering in multi GPU setups.
- Fixed an issue with HUD scaling in 4 monitor multi display setups.

User experience & interface

- Added support to bind Home, End, Insert, Delete, Page Up and Page Down keys.
- Added several menu navigation improvements with mouse and keyboard.
- Added a notification if the video driver is outdated.
- Added a notification when the system is low on free RAM and starts writing to the virtual memory.
- Fixed a HUD issue in co-op for users who have already completed the selected mission.
- Fixed the Pitch icon display when using mouse to steer helicopters.

Co-op

- Fixed an issue with co-op sharing of systemic activities.
- Fixed the use of Push to Talk in the co-op lobby.

Controls

- Changed the Enable Controller default option to Only Gamepads.
- Addressed a number of issues with the Steam Controller icons and functionality.

Performance

- Addressed a series of random crashes encountered by users.
- Fixed an issue causing framerate drops when the saving icon was being displayed.
- Fixed an issue where the menu was lagging while running the game on a Hard Disk Drive.
- Solved an issue with VRAM bar update when lowering Resolution scaling.

Misc

- Fixed a bug on the Medication Air Transport mission in Tabacal.
- Fixed an issue with character poses in Ansel.
- Solved a controls issue where one couldn’t sprint from crouch or prone position.

Hello Ghosts,

Here are the patch notes for Title Update 3, available on April 12th around 8am UTC for consoles and on Friday morning for PC. As with the previous patch, we will have a small maintenance in order to update our servers to this new version. The patch size will be up to 5.3 GB on consoles and up to 6.5 GB on PC, depending on your client and installed version; an in-game notification will let you know when it’s available. Players in game will need to reboot the game to apply the patch. Please remember that in order to play co-op, all players will need to have the same version of the game.

This latest update focuses on improvements on game stability and bug fixing but we’ve also been gathering player feedback about certain issues and implemented changes in order to improve the user experience. For example, we fixed the Kingslayer files counter on the tacmap for the Media Luna and Inca Camina regions for those who are collecting every piece of intel around the map. We fixed a rare issue that left some players with their XP bars stuck at a certain level. XP boosters will now display the number of hours they last, and players who reported problems unlocking intel and missions while playing in co-op should have a smoother experience now. Additionally, we also addressed the reports of players stating the ADV suppressor ability wasn’t working properly for them.

Title Update 3 also marks the beginning of a much requested community feature: we are glad to introduce the first Live Season Challenges for Ghost Recon Wildlands! As we mentioned in our post-launch article, this feature will add new content for those of you who are eager to return to Bolivia to keep your Ghosts and Task Forces active. You will receive weekly orders to complete different objectives, some which can be completed playing solo and some which will require the help of the members of your Task Force or even the collaboration of the whole Ghost Recon community. If you meet the requirements to complete each challenge, you will be able to unlock various seasonal rewards, so don’t miss out!

If you want to know more about the Live Season Challenges, you can find them in the game menu once the patch is downloaded and you are deployed in-game. Please remember you need to be online to progress through the Live Season Challenges and get the rewards. The first 6 weeks are related to Unidad forces, but that’s all the intel we can give you for now. Good hunting, Ghosts!

Aside from these changes, we have also heard your feedback regarding the radio and dialogue between the Ghosts, so we made some changes to improve the narrative content delivery for players. The radio content randomization has been optimized, so now you should be able to listen to a variety of dialogues and songs every time you enter a car or are near a radio. On top of that, we made adjustments regarding the dialogues between AI teammates and the conversations related to missions so that they don’t repeat unnecessarily after they have been played.

For more information, here is the detailed list of fixes and improvements, with the PC specific ones at the end:

CHALLENGES

-First Season of Live Season Challenges will be live on Tuesday, April 18th. The challenges and their requirements will be accessible from the game menu once the player is in-game.

MISSIONS/NARRATION

-Fixed a bug where the GPS would display the route for "El Emisario" instead of "Special Transport"
-Fixed "The Chemist" teleporting when escaping in certain situations
-Reload prompt no longer appears when accessing the command wheel
-Fixed "Marcus Jensen" mission not updating for the client while in 2-players coop
-Fixed an infinite XP exploit in extract missions
-Fixed a bug where the VIP wouldn't appear in the truck when replaying "Death Truck"
-Fixed a bug where "Target too far" would stay on screen in "The Mole" mission after locating the Unidad captain
-Fixed missions NPC not spawning if the player leaves and return to the area in "The mule doctors"
-Fixed a bug where El Cerebro's Assistant would not get into the car after failing the mission in "El Cerebro"
-Fixed Bowman's call not triggering if the player fast travel during Pac Katari's call
-Fixed the journalist not exiting the car if another player completes the "Free the journalist" objective in "The journalist"

USER INTERFACE

-Fixed a bug where the player could get stuck in the menus after validating a tutorial
-Fixed GPS blinking when the player moves far away from the target
-Fixed wrong number of Kingslayer files displayed on the tacmap in Media Luna and Inca Camina
-Fixed the "Controls" section of the options menu not responding in certain occasions
-Fixed a bug where the "Return to area of operations" message would remain on the screen even after returning to the area of operations
-Fixed a bug where the objective of systemic activities would not display on the HUD
-Pressing the R3 button while in passenger position of a vehicle will now display rear view

CO-OP

-Added a new public matchmaking criteria based on difficulty level
-Fixed a bug where a joining player could not see a NPC grabbed by a peer
-Fixed intels not unlocking for players entering the province last, despite the mission being playable via mission sharing
-Fixed SAM incoming missile alert not being replicated in coop
-Fixed visual effects of the "don't press me" button not replicating in coop mode
-Fixed absence of variation in the helicopter sound in co-op
-Fixed Suppressors sometimes not replicating correctly when changing weapon in the loadout
-Fixed a bug where the mission "the Agent" would be completed for only one player when the drone battery runs dry just after the conversation is finished
-Fixed a bug where the player could not interact with the rally point door if another player finished watching the cinematic

GAMEPLAY

-Type 95 LMG's Extended magazines can now be used in-game upon purchase
-Fixed the player surviving falls when sticking to a wall
-Player can no longer take cover behind destroyed destructibles
-Fixed the player occasionally shaking when taking cover
-Fixed XP stuck for players in very rare occurrences
-Fixed a bug allowing the player to prone and fire through walls
-Fixed a bug where the player couldn't take cover when exiting a vehicle
-The Santa Muerte helicopter now has the same handling as the others helicopters
-Fixed vehicles not exploding when colliding with the train
-Fixed a bug allowing the player to clip through walls with a motorcycle
-Fixed a bug where the Unidad alert level could drop from 4 to 0 when a reinforcement wave is cleaned
-The ADV Suppressor skill now properly affects damage reduction on all weapons.
-Fixed a bug where a weapon would become unusable if equipped in the loadout while the player swapped weapons
-Fixed a bug where the player could not re-equip the suppressor back on Silencio once they viewed the weapon without it in Gunsmith.

AUDIO

-Fixed Amaru not having a radio voice while travelling by helicopter
-Fixed missing sound effect when a boat collides with the shore
-Fixed SAM detection sound repeating itself if the player exits the range in time
-Fixed audio feedback on incoming missiles
-Improved radio content randomization
-Fixed a bug where the AI teammates would repeat the same idle dialogues several times
-Fixed absence of sound when a helicopter crashes
-Fixed narrative dialogues replaying after each redeployment

GRAPHICS

-Fixed an occasional graphic corruption on the road texture when entering and exiting pause menu
-Fixed graphic corruption when colliding a vehicle with a trash can
-Fixed the Unidad costume clipping through the camera in First-person view
-Fixed the NPCs not positioning correctly when entering a 30° inclined vehicle
-The female ponytail hairstyle is no longer clipping with the Santa Muerte costume
-Fixed a rare bug causing fps drops on long game sessions

STORE

-XP boosters now display the number of hours they last
-"New vehicle unlocked" pop-up won't activate every time a vehicle pack is collected
-Fixed season pass appearing as broken in the store when already purchased
-The "Compensator V2-SMG" can now be attached to SMG's

WORLD

-Repositioned Legend collectible in the Media Luna province
-Fixed multiple places where the player could get stuck
-Fixed various world building glitches
-Fixed boats spawning on top of each other in Agua Verde

STABILITY

-Fixed various crashes and glitches

PC SPECIFIC FIXES

-Multiple stability issues addressed
-Solved a localization problem with the store page
-Fixed a case where Task Force membership wasn’t properly displayed
-Several Steam Controller tweaks and bug fixes
-UI control reminders now change automatically from controller to mouse and keyboard upon mouse input
-Solved mapping conflicts when remapping next or previous vehicle
-Fixed an issue about the “hold” gauge when redeploying on team mates
-Game language can be changed from Uplay launcher
-The Loadout tab is now functional when switching from Factions tab with a controller
-Right click now edits the selected weapon slot

We also implemented fixes and improvements for both Ghost Recon Network and Ghost Recon HQ.

Title Update 3.5 now available - Patch Notes

Hello Ghosts,

The PC Title Update 3.5 is now live on Uplay and Steam. Please update your game to take advantage of all the fixes and new features. Here is the complete list:

NEW FEATURES

• Players can request for help now while in down state.

BUG FIXES

• Fixed the fast travel icon not being displayed on the tacmap when using a Steam Controller.
• Fixed an issue where the screen would flicker when exiting the vehicle while using the Tobii Eye tracking device.
• Fixed an issue where the game language was not automatically set if the Arabic language was set as the title's language, from the Steam client.
• Fixed an issue where the game would show an incorrect display resolution in the Video menu if ALT+TAB was used during the confirmation pop-up message.
• Fixed an issue where the gray screen when the character is downed was displayed in NVIDIA Ansel.
• Fixed an issue where the 360 screenshot in Ansel had visual corruption if Ansel was used while the Night Vision was activated.
• Fixed an issue where the Weapon Fanatic achievement was not awarded if the weapon pack item was bought from the in game store.

NARCO ROAD
• Fixed and issue where the screen would flicker when using nitro boost while being detected.

Title Update 4: Patch Notes

Greetings Ghosts,

Below, you will find the patch notes for Title Update 4, which will be available on May 17 at approximately 9AM UTC for PC, and May 18 at approximately 9AM UTC for consoles. Similar to previous updates, TU4 will include a brief maintenance period to update servers for the new version. The patch will be up to 7.2 GB PC depending on your client, and up to 9.0 GB on consoles, depending on your installed version; again, an in-game notification will alert players to the availability of the update. A game reboot will be required to apply the patch, and players will need to have the same version of the game in order to play co-op.

Title Update 4 draws much of its focus from player feedback, including several quality of life changes for co-op and solo play and a suite of new HUD and UI options. Co-op players will be able to alert their squad mates when dying, and tagged resource crates will be granted to every teammate in the collecting player’s zone. Downed players will redeploy at the mission starting point, rather than at a random location in the world, and there is now a brief window of time to take down an alerted enemy before a stealth mission is failed.

Title Update 4 will also usher in season two of the Live Season Challenges, with a new focus, new challenges, and new rewards! Additionally, Challenges will now include some additional gameplay parameters such as difficulty or HUD settings. You can follow along with the new episodes at the Ghost Recon Network.

A new round of improvements and bug-fixes will be implemented with this patch. For example, the introductory Kingslayer video no longer triggers upon launch, and full magazines are no longer consumed when a suppressor is applied to a weapon in the gunsmith menu.

Finally, Title Update 4 paves the way for the upcoming Fallen Ghosts DLC, first announced here. Stay on the lookout for more intel about Fallen Ghosts, coming soon.

HUD AND UI IMPROVEMENTS

Improvements to the HUD include splitting several broad HUD options into a wider variety of more granular options. Please note that some of these were already implemented on the TU 3.5 update for PC, but are now fully and officially implemented across all platforms:

-“Contextual Actions” has been split from “Input Reminders”

-The “Markers” HUD option has been split into six distinct types of markers, each of which can be toggled on or off—"Objective markers", "communication markers" "enemy/rebels markers" "Item & location markers" "sync shot" "alert markers"

-A new option has been introduced to toggle detection clouds on the minimap

Additionally, deactivating the Sync Shot HUD markers will no longer prevent your AI teammates from using the Sync Shot ability! These improvements, and more, are listed below.



MISSIONS/NARRATION

-In "Nidia's Cash" :

-Fixed a bug where the rebels wouldn't follow the player

-Fixed a bug where the player couldn't interact with the laptop again after being killed while using it

-In "Madre Coca" :

-Fixed a bug where the rebels wouldn't enter their cars if affected by external stimuli

-In "General Baro" :

-Fixed a bug where killing the general before reaching the meeting point would not result in a game over, preventing player progression

-In "The Bank Heist" :

-Fixed a bug where the wrong path would be displayed on the GPS

-In "The Mole" :

-Fixed a bug where the mission couldn't progress if the Mole was affected by an external stimuli

Face the deadliest challenge in Fallen Ghosts

The Ghosts are special forces prepared to face any conflict, no matter how challenging it is. They have successfully torn apart the powerful Santa Blanca Cartel, turning their organization into little more than ashes, but now they will have to face the greatest challenge they ever experienced: a combat situation with a ruthless enemy who pursues them without hesitation.

Welcome to Fallen Ghosts. This expansion, featuring new missions, weapons, skills, and enemies, will be available on May 30 for the season pass owners, and on June 6 for individual purchase.



Run, fight, hide: test your skills against a unforgiving enemy

After the fall of the Santa Blanca Cartel, Unidad’s military force is unable to contain the chaos created by the Ghosts. Santa Blanca’s disorganized members search for revenge and the rebels are trying to take back control of cocaine production. In order to help restore order in the country, Unidad enlists the most dangerous volunteers, disgraced ex-military special operations and ex-cartel members from various Latin-American countries, giving birth to a unit specializing in the most brutal operations: Los Extranjeros.

Before leaving the country for good, the Ghosts have one last mission: they need to evacuate the last CIA members and American civilians remaining in the country. On their way in, their chopper is shot down and they crash in the middle of the jungle. They are now chased by enemies better equipped and stronger than them…so they will need to play smart if they want to survive.



New bosses, missions, and challenges

The new Fallen Ghosts campaign features 15 new missions in which you will face four new bosses located in three different regions. As with the main game, you have total freedom of choice in the way you complete the missions, either by controlling your AI squad alone or by joining up to three other players in co-op.

The new missions will test your combat skills and the coordination with your team: you will have to eliminate lieutenants, defend civilians, and extract VIPs, all to work your way through to the heads of each region. In addition to the main missions, Fallen Ghosts will also incorporate new side missions scattered around the map. If you complete all the missions of a specific type, you can unlock a final activity that grants you exclusive prizes upon completion.

But these are not the only changes: for those of you who love a good challenge, the Advanced and Expert difficulties have been tweaked to offer a greater challenge. Turn off the HUD and immerse yourself in the most extreme tactical experience you can experience in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands.



New deadly enemies: Los Extranjeros

During the events of Fallen Ghosts, your squad will be pursued by Los Extranjeros. Operating under the government protection gave them access to the latest combat technology so, for the first time, the Ghosts will not be the ones equipped with the most advanced tools.

You will have to deal with four new types of enemies and each one of them will require a different approach. Armored enemies wear heavy bulletproof vests and will be hard to kill in close combat; Elite Snipers have a wide detection range and unbeatable aiming skills; the Jammers have an interference antenna equipped on their backpacks that disables all your electronic gadgets; and finally, the Covert Ops will test your detection capabilities with their advanced optical camouflages and their silent but lethal crossbows. They are implacable, and they will push the Ghosts to their limits.



New weapons and skills

Luckily, the Ghosts will have some resources to face this new threat. Fallen Ghosts includes 25 weapons, including six new exclusive ones, featuring assault rifles, sniper rifles, and even a crossbow that can be equipped with explosive arrows. Additionally, you will also be able to get more than 10 exclusive legendary versions.



New set of skills and extra level cap

You start Fallen Ghosts with a new level 30 character with all of the main game skills already active. However, to help you fight this new deadly enemy, you’ll be able to teach your ghost some new skills. To unlock them, the level cap will be raised to level 35. Here are some examples of skills you’ll be able to use, with more of them coming in the final release:

- Drone Updates: The best friend of the Ghosts is now updated with even more tactical options.

- Flash Drone: Transform your drone into a mobile flashbang grenade that will repeatedly trigger blinding flashes.

- Attack Drone: Attach a small-caliber shooting device to your drone to transform it into a lethal flying weapon.

- Drone Vengeance: Equip it with an explosive payload that will activate automatically when shot down by an enemy.

- Physical Skills: Tracked and hunted down, you’ll be forced to unleash your inner Ghost and improve your reflexes to survive.

- Oxygen: Improve your ability to swim underwater for a longer time. Stay undetected and find new stealthy ways to attack your enemy.

- Reaction Marking: Improve your senses and tag every enemy shooting at you.

- Weapons Skills:

- Explosive bolt: Equip your new crossbow with explosive bolts. More deadly, less silent.

- Fast Reload: Increase your dexterity and reload your weapons faster.

For those of you who mastered the campaign, Fallen Ghosts should test your tactical and combat skills to the limit, either solo or with friends. We really hope you will be up to the challenge, Ghosts, because Los Extranjeros will show no mercy.

Update patch 5


Here’s the detailed list of fixes and improvements coming with Title Update 5 on PC and consoles on June 28th, with the PC-specific ones at the end:

USER INTERFACE

The reason for detection is now displayed above the mini-map.



GAMEPLAY

Fixed a bug where the player could not use the drone or the binoculars after using the medic drone to heal.
Fixed a bug where vehicles would take low damage when shot from a long distance.
Corrected a bug where the Stoner LMG folded buttstock would be described with an incorrect location in the loadout.
Corrected a bug where Whisper pistol had no silencer and would alarm NPCs if players used it.



AUDIO

An unusual noise was heard near a ruined hut…
Fixed a bug where the M9 handgun would sound the same with or without a suppressor.



NARCO ROAD

Fixed a bug where the follower icon could be missing when in the tacmap.



FALLEN GHOSTS

Fixed a bug where the player would be detected by NPCs when shooting at long distance with a crossbow.



PC

Fixed a bug where excessive lighting would occur in certain weather types in the Fallen Ghosts expansion when the Enhanced Godrays option was enabled.
Fixed a bug where selecting the Left Handed Mouse option would display the right click for fast travel on the tacmap instead of the left click.
Fixed a bug where an Xbox One controller would lose input if the controller was disconnected while the game was unfocused.,
Fixed a bug where the mouse click was not displayed for the Skills shortcut in the Command Wheel.
Fixed a bug where a pop-up related to Easy Anti Cheat would be displayed at every game start if the User Account Control feature was enabled in Windows.*
Fixed a bug where rapidly closing NVIDIA Ansel after it was open caused the game to run at 1 frame per second.



*Please note that this pop-up will only be displayed the first time you start the game with the UAC feature enabled.

GAMEPLAY
- Added a new default helicopter controls, that can be deactivated in order to revert to the previous controls:

Now the triggers control the vertical speed (LT = Vertical descending speed, RT = Vertical ascending speed)
The left stick controls the horizontal speed (Up/Down = Forward/Backward, Left/Right = Left/Right)
Left/Right on the right stick controls the rotation speed of the chopper
Up/Down on the right stick controls the rotation speed of the camera (doesn’t impact the helicon pitch; this gives a feeling of the player controlling the camera, and the helicopter follows the camera)


- Every helicopter now has a different behavior

Small helicopters are very fast, very mobile, and have a high pitch
Gunships are fast, mobile, and have a very military feeling to them
Blackhawks are slower and more steady when handling


- Helicopters take off physics are now more realistic. Once the helicopter reaches the correct RPM, it will take off automatically
- The helicopters no longer slide while taking off
- Helicopter engine torque reacts to the player’s actions (The player will be able to hear and see the engine rotors accelerating or slowing down)
- Improved destruction of helicopters on impact
*Disclaimer: The new Helicopter control scheme is not yet optimized for the Steam Controller. This may cause moving the helicopter left and right with the trackpad to be very slow.*

HUD
- While using a gatling chopper, the HUD now displays a crosshair while aiming
- While using a rocket chopper, the HUD now locks onto targets
- While using a small chopper with rockets, instead of locking, the player shoots rocket salvos
- Added a HUD display that shows the current helicopter speed and altitude

MISSIONS/NARRATION
- In "La Gringa" : -Fixed a bug where the objective marker could disappear
- In "El Chido’s Agent" : -Fixed a bug preventing missions completion if the agent gets alerted

USER INTERFACE
- Fixed a bug where the “Down” symbol wouldn’t always appear

- Player will hear helicopter engines speeding up and slowing down upon accelerating/decelerating

Title Update 8 Patchnotes

Greetings Ghosts,

Today we are thrilled to bring you the details of Title Update 8, which will be available on October 10th PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and October 12th on PC. For more information, please read the dedicated forum thread.

On PC, this patch is up to 4,7GB on Steam and 9,5GB on Uplay. On consoles, this patch is up to 11GB depending on the version already installed. An in-game notification will alert players when the update becomes available. Please note that players will need to reboot the game to apply the patch, and will need to have the same version of the game in order to play online together.

On top of the bug fixes and improvements to the main game, this update is bringing the PvP mode: Ghost War. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands: Ghost War is an intense tactical 4v4 adversarial experience. At launch, you will have 12 classes to choose from as you battle enemies across 8 different maps. You will need to plan your actions and tactics carefully, as even your downed teammates can become objectives since you will be able to revive them at any time.



Choose your team, choose your tactics, and then choose the class that best fits into your playstyle to ensure victory over your opponents. Only the strongest and most prepared Ghosts will survive this extreme adversarial experience. You can learn more about what to expect in Ghost War in our latest article here.

We also made an improvement to our campaign’s connectivity. Ghost Recon Wildlands campaign mode’s networking model is based on peer-to-peer networking. In order to improve the connectivity issues some of you are facing since launch, we have also decided to back up our networking model with relay servers as it has been done for our Ghost War PVP mode. These relay servers route packets between players who cannot connect directly to each other, essentially eliminating many of the situations where players cannot connect because of incompatible NAT types. In order to minimize any lag induced by this routing, we spread our relay servers over many geographical locations and picked servers that offer the quickest routes to relay packets between players. Below are all the fixes and improvements we are bringing you in Title Update 8.

MISSIONS/NARRATION

- In "El Cardinal", fixed a bug where the player couldn't redeploy freely after failing the mission
USER INTERFACE
- Fixed a bug where a "NEW" tag would appear on the loadout even though there is no new unlocked item
- Fixed a bug where the "Missile incoming" warning would be displayed too late
- Fixed some situations where the prestige points earned wouldn't appear on screen

COOP

- Fixed a bug where a player wouldn't be kicked from the lobby if the command was initiated from several players
- Added relay servers for improved connectivity between players

GAMEPLAY

- Fixed a bug where a player shooting from the trunk of a car could lose control over the character
- Polished the new helicopter's landing animation

STABILITY

- Fixed a bug where Norton antivirus users would have troubles launching the game

NARCO ROAD

- In "El Invisible", fixed a bug where the "mission failed" screen would not appear, making the mission unavailable.
PC
- Fixed the mouse input precision for the new helicopter control scheme. We implemented mouse acceleration which decays as helicopter picks up speed, and a deceleration when player is driving, as previous implementation was losing angular velocity too fast
- Fixed an issue causing vehicle doors to always shown as being closed when using NVidia Ansel

For those of you who do not own Ghost Recon Wildlands, remember you can join us during our free weekend between October 12 and 15 for PC and between October 12 and 16 for consoles. Please note that this patch has been developed to fix as quickly as possible the Thermal Vision perk. Two patches with more fixes and improvements will be published in November. While the first one will be lighter in content, the second one will bring additional content to Ghost War, such as a new class, new maps, and a new game mode…stay tuned.

We will have to run a 1h30 maintenance on all platforms on October 23rd from 8am UTC. Please note that this maintenance will only impact the online play, including Ghost War. This patch is up to 11GB on consoles and up to 7.89GB on PC. To learn more about the size of our patches, please read our dedicated note. If you are already in a game from the moment when the maintenance starts, your session will be put to offline mode so that you can still be able to play the campaign mode solo with your 3 AI teammates. An in-game notification will alert players when the update becomes available. Please note that players will need to reboot the game to apply the patch, and will need to have the same version of the game in order to play online together.

Ghost War mode

Thermal Vision perk balancing changes

We had the time to iterate on the thermal vision design and were able to find a fix that we believe won’t need to be furthered addressed. The temporary fix that we communicated about earlier proved after testing that it wasn’t very effective, and didn’t perform well enough technically speaking to be an actual solution.

Now, the Thermal vision perk will only be available to Support classes only (as opposed to being available for everyone) and can only be used while operating the drone. This also meant that we needed to take a Support exclusive perk and exchange it with the Thermal Goggles perk, so we moved Quick Hands to the multiclass category. Please let us know your thoughts about this change.

Campaign mode

We fixed a bug where some players got stuck on a “refreshing content” pop-up window when trying to join Narco Road or Fallen Ghosts.

PC version

Some players who had uninstalled EAC were receiving an error popup preventing them from launching the game. We added a fix to reinstall EAC to prevent this error from coming again.

Matchmaking

Not part of the patch, but this has also been improved server-side and is already effective: Matchmaking. We saw the debates going on about the difference of levels in matchmaking and had a closer look at our matchmaking criteria.

The reason why the game matches players with different levels together is because matchmaking is done based on players’ Match Making Rating instead of level. MMR is basically a value representing the player’s skill and goes up and down depending on their win/loss ratio. At level 1, because the players haven’t won or lost a match yet, they are assigned a default rating value upon which we apply our MMR calculation algorithm (based on the Glicko-2 rating system) depending on round outcomes and also their own team’s and the opposing team’s MMR.

Before our fix, the starting MMR was higher than the average MMR of all the players, which translated into high chances of matching a level 1 player with a much higher level player. We already implemented a fix for this, meaning we lowered the starting MMR value below the global average MMR. With this fix, there will still be a chance for a level 1 player to match with higher level players, but their skill will be significantly lower, so matches will be more balanced.

Player progression

We also noticed that the player progression from level 1 to 50 seemed to be much slower than we had anticipated. Based on our current estimations, we’ve managed to reduce the total time needed to reach level 50 to a much more comfortable amount so players will progress quicker.

Today we’re going to let you know about another set of fixes and changes to Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon®️ Wildlands. The update will be available starting November 7 on PC, PlayStation®️4, and Xbox One. The patch’s size will vary on different platforms, with 11 GB on PC Uplay, 4.3 GB on Steam, and 12 GB on consoles. We will warn you in advance about the maintenance via game notifications. Once the maintenance is over, the patch should become available to download. Please restart your game if the update doesn’t start automatically. Remember you’ll need the game to be updated in order to play online. After that, you can launch and enjoy the game!,

In this update, we bring you special improvements for Xbox One X! Bringing up 4K, HDR enhancement and faster loading times, your game will be feeling better than ever! We hope that with this update, playing Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands on your new console will be an especially amazing experience.

That’s not all! You’ll also find changes regarding:

- Ghost War: In this update, we fixed the progression issue that you reported, as well as added a way to go to the store straight from the Ghost War menu, which is a feature that many of you asked for. We also fixed many UI- and HUD-related issues. A full list of the changes can be found below.

- PC trial version. You can try out all the game features for up to five hours. If you decide to purchase the game after playing the trial, your progress will be saved, so you can pick up exactly where you left it off.

- As of tomorrow, we will begin a very special celebration: We invite you to enter the Wildlands tomorrow!

PvP fixes:

- Fixed an issue where the character becomes stuck in a knockout animation loop when knocked out immediately after getting healed.

- Fixed an issue where the frame rate would drop when scrolling through the tutorial menu videos.

- Fixed an issue where the character’s weapon was bouncing left to right on the endgame cinematic.

- Fixed an issue where the Trainee perk would not award the correct amount of XP.

- Fixed an issue where some actions were incorrectly mapped in the control scheme pictures in the Options menu.

- Fixed an issue where the first loading screen of a second consecutive Quickplay match shows the scores from the previous match.

- Fixed an issue where the Ready button was not being displayed if the player had pressed ESC or the B button on a controller right before the second-round loadout stage.

- Fixed an issue with misleading HUD prompts for several weapons during aim-down sights.

- Fixed an issue where the paint presets for weapons did not update correctly.

- Fixed an issue where the HUD prompts for the class’ special ability were still being displayed while swimming.

- Fixed an issue where the weapon reticule would not display on the HUD after being flashed.

- Weapons can now be customized directly from the Loadout menu as opposed to the Edit Appearance menu page.

- Store entry option has been added to the PvP Main Menu.

- Fixed an issue where players wouldn’t receive XP after finished match.

Campaign fixes:

- Helicopters will no longer run out of ammo upon extended usage.

PC-specific fixes:

- Fixed an issue where the character model’s textures would not apply new texture quality settings.

- Fixed an issue where the Czech and Brazilian Portuguese localizations were missing from the Challenges/Ubisoft Club news slot.

- Fixed an issue where the Switch Underbarrel option was present in Key Mapping, instead of Toggle Automark.

- Fixed an issue where the player names could not be selected with the mouse on the scoreboard page.

- Fixed an issue with the loading screens: they are now 4k UHD.

- Fixed an issue where the Toggle Automark option was missing and could not be reassigned to another key.

- Players now have the option to select Quit to the Desktop or Quit to Main Menu from the PvP Lobby.

PS4-specific fixes:

- Fixed an issue where pressing the triangle button to take a screenshot would also change the weapon in-game.

Tom Clancy vs. Predator: Wildlands introduces movie monster

Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Wildlands this week introduces the Predator to the sandbox stealth-o-shooter. Yes, Predator, like the movies about headhunting aliens. Players will get to fight a Predator in a special challenge as well collect and use Predator items. As odd as this may be, it does make Wildlands more interesting to me as I’ll take a monster mash over oh-so-serious imperialist fantasy any day. And the Predators and Ghosts do have a lot in common: they both enjoy sneaking around jungles, casually slaughtering anyone they consider beneath themselves.

The crossover kicks off tomorrow, Thursday. In solo and cooperative play, Ghosts will get to fight the Predator themselves. Ubisoft say this is “the most difficult fight” in the game. Well, that fella can turn invisible, blast zapballs, see in all spectrums, and pop those natty wristknives. Preying upon the Predator will net players themed items, including his magical mask. This ‘Special Challenge’ will be available until some time in “early January”.

Ubisoft have also made the ‘Predator Pack’, a load of cosmetic doodads and weapons that I’d assume will be paid DLC?

Over in the competitive Ghost War mode, one of the two new classes arriving with the ‘Jungle Storm’ update on Thursday is inspired by Arnie’s character in the original Predator. He’ll have a ‘Battle Rage’ mode, which I hope makes him shout whenever he’s firing a gun.

That Ghost War update will also add Ranked play and another new class, the crossbow-packing Pathfinder.

Anyway. Predator! Good, yeah? I’d go for a Wildlands that was more Predator-y. Make this permanent. Let folks play 4v1 Ghosts vs. Predator. Make the Predator a playable sandbox character. Hell, make him the main character. Let’s have a sandbox game about Predators hunting Ghosts.

Patch Notes for Update 4: New Assignment

On March 14th, we will be releasing our next update, New Assignment. This update will be available on PC, PlayStation®️4, and Xbox One. The size of the patch will be 4 GB on Steam, 15 GB on Uplay and up to 15 GB on consoles depending on your version. Please note that you will need to restart and update your platform to be able to play online.

New Assignment will bring a range of new content to Ghost War, including three new classes, Trapper, Stalker and Guerrilla. We have also introduced a new map-voting tool, allowing players to vote for one of three possible maps at the start of every match. We have also added two new maps, Refinery and Cliffside, for Extraction mode.

Refinery

This industrial factory is the largest cocaine lab in Bolivia. With a large defender area and multiple pathways, this map allows for varied gameplay and extraction approaches.

Cliffside

Once a Rebel stronghold, this village is now under the watch of the Santa Blanca. With tall buildings and snipping vantage points, Cliffside offers new tactics for Extraction mode.

For our Campaign mode, we have exclusively added more Fallen Ghosts weapons. Additionally, our Rainbow Six Siege Icons can be now collected via both our Ghost War and Spec Ops Crates, meaning they are available for customization in Ghost War as well as our Campaign.

Ghost War | New Content

CLASSES

We have introduced three new classes: Trapper, Stalker, and Guerrilla. All of them are available through the Season Pass and the Ghost War Pass, and can also be purchased with Prestige Credits.

Trapper

The Trapper is a Marksman that has both a passive ability and an active one. The passive ability permanently marks downed enemies on the HUD and map for all teammates. His active ability lets him place knock-out gas traps from a distance, damaging and stunning enemies that enter their area of effect.

Stalker

The Stalker is a Marksman class that has two passive abilities. Enemies beyond a certain distance will not hear her shots or see any sound markers. Also, enemies marked by the Stalker do not receive any notification, as long as no other players mark them. These abilities allow the Stalker to quietly follow her prey from long-range before silently taking them out.

Guerrilla

The Guerrilla is a Support class with a drone that can shoot smoke grenades. All players inside of the smoke radius are occluded, meaning they become unmarked if they were marked, and additionally, drones, aiming or binoculars cannot mark them. The smoke can have many tactical uses, from creating a safe cover to reviving downed teammates and to temporarily blinding an enemy sniper.

MAPS

New Maps

We have added two new maps, Refinery and Cliffside, to the Extraction game mode. Both of these maps are now available in Quickplay, Ranked, and Custom Matches.

Map Voting

We have introduced a new feature that allows players to vote for one of three possible maps, each from a different game mode, at the start of every new match. The voting process only takes 15 seconds, and players can see details for each map, including game mode, time of day and weather settings. Map voting is available for both Quickplay and Ranked.

Ghost War | Updates

CLASSES

Tech: The Tech's jammer will not appear on the HUD for the enemy team anymore, as this was giving away the Tech's position. Now the Tech can safely place a jammer without being exposed.
Mine Defusing: We have introduced the ability for players to defuse enemy mines. By approaching the mine while prone, the mine's detonation range is reduced, allowing you to safely get closer to the mine until the "defuse" prompt appears. Defusing a mine will remove it without alerting its owner.

MAPS

Ruins Map: We have reworked the Ruins map to improve its balance. The playable area has been expanded, we added more cover for crossing certain key locations and we relocated most objects on the map, including the spawn locations.
Institute Map: We changed the Attackers spawn position to add more variety to the map, and moved the hostage cages closer to each other so the Defenders team can move faster from one hostage to the other.

ADDITIONAL

Penalties: Penalty timeouts have been reduced, as they were too long and severely punished players who were experiencing connection issues.
Prestige Credits: There was a big discrepancy between players with high Prestige level and players with low Prestige level, concerning the amount of Prestige Credits they earned per level-up. To address this, we now award a flat value of 215 Prestige Credits, no matter the Prestige level (the total sum remains the same). We also gave players the extra amount of Prestige Credits they should have earned with this new system in place, so that everyone now has the correct amount.
New Tutorial Info: Our tutorials have been updated to include changes to existing features and the introduction of our new classes. Knowledge is power, so make sure you read them!

BUGS FIXED

ALL Platforms:

Fixed an issue where a Player would spawn with his Camera view on the enemy's side.
Fixed an issue with the missing sound for a marked Hostage.
Fixed an issue with a Russian wrongly translated word on the Victory screen.
Fixed an issue with some words not being localized on the Ranked Season End pop-up.
Fixed an issue with the Total Time Played, from the Stats page, not showing properly for the Users with a high amount of played time.
Fixed an issue with a word from the Stats page not being translated.
Fixed an issue where the Users couldn't be marked when looked at through a window from a Gas Station on the Urban Incursion map.
Fixed an issue with a message not being displayed when a Defender would make a First Blood on an enemy Player holding the Hostage.
Fixed an issue with the "Current rank league", from the Stats page, not being reset when a new season starts.
Fixed an issue with the Jammer icon not showing properly after a Host Migration.
Fixed an issue where the Ping icon on the HUD would now be grayed-out during cooldown.
Fixed an issue with a no-functionality "Cancel Search" button appearing during a Loading Screen.
Fixed an issue where the unlocking cage animation played twice when opened by a Pathfinder.
Fixed an issue where the Ranked-tutorial page wasn't displaying the updated information regarding the Placement Matches.
Fixed an issue with a message not correctly informing the Party Leader when leaving a Ranked match with his squad.
Fixed an issue where the User wasn't notified, regarding his Rank, after completing the placement rounds.
Fixed an issue where the Diversionist's Drone was automatically marked on the HQ App.
Fixed an issue where the Hostage would have a looping animation after the Attacked was killed while grabbing him.
Fixed an issue with some reinforced windows through which only the 1st throwable passed.
Fixed an issue with a building, from the Institute map, with faulty collision.
Fixed an issue where the Players that abandoned a match during "Probation Time" wouldn't get penalized.
Fixed an issue with the Pathfinder not being marked via binoculars.
Fixed an issue with some text overlapping, on various localizations, on the Battle Crates page.
Fixed an issue where some Party members would not be able to search for a Quickplay/Ranked match.
Fixed some clipping issues occurring when the Tracker t-shirt was equipped, by female characters, underneath vests.
Fixed an issue where the User would accidentally Ping when clicking on the Notification button from the Tacmap.
Fixed some text overlapping issues, on the Progression page, on various localizations.
Fixed an issue with some of the words, from the Stats page, not being translated into Italian.
Fixed an issue with Users playing on the same side, twice in a row, if a Player would leave in a certain moment.

Fixed an issue with the M16's SFX volume being too low.
Fixed an issue where the User would receive a "Rank Up!" notification even when his rank remains unchanged.

Fixed an issue regarding the flow of the game when a Player is disconnected at the beginning of a Ranked session.

Fixed an issue with some Arabian text-color settings appearing on one of the Tutorial pages.
Fixed an issue with a Keyboard button not appearing on the Character Customization page.
Fixed an issue that caused some players to remain stuck on Loading Screens if a Host Migration occurred during the Loadout page.
Fixed an issue on the Battle Crates page with the ESC button not being clickable.

XB1 & PS4:

Fixed an issue where the Ghost Profile was not being properly loaded.

Campaign | New Content

1st Anniversary Rewards

All players will receive an in-game t-shirt and patch to celebrate our 1st year anniversary. Players can access this gift in the Ubisoft Club.

Campaign | Updates

Fallen Ghosts Weapons: In our Extended Ops update, we made the Fallen Ghosts weapons pack from Ghost War available in our Campaign mode. With our New Assignment update, we have added even more Fallen Ghosts weapons exclusively to our Campaign. You can see the full weapons list here.

Please note, these weapons will be unlocked for free for players with the Fallen Ghosts DLC. Alternatively, these weapons are purchasable via our in-game store.

Battle Crate Icons: Battle Crate Icons, such as our Rainbow Six Siege Icons, can now be collected via our Ghost War and Spec Ops Crates. This means you can now customize your Ghost with Battle Crate Icons in both Ghost War and Campaign modes. Additionally, any Icons collected via Ghost War Crates before this update, are available for customization in our Campaign mode too. More information on our Battle Crates can be found here.

BUGS FIXED

UPDATE 5: SPECIAL OPERATION 1

On April 10th, we will be releasing the first update of our second year of live content. Ghosts, are you ready for Special Operation 1?

Call the Ghosts: Sam Fisher is coming to the Wildlands! A rogue CIA agent has come to Bolivia to sell top-secret Intel to the Santa Blanca, and it is your mission to help Sam stop him. Head over to La Cruz to take on this high-risk infiltration challenge: Fisher’s waiting for you.

We have a new mode for Ghost War: Sabotage. One team has to capture and hold an objective before the timer runs out, while the defending team tries to stop them. This mode also comes with five new maps.

Being a part of Sam Fisher’s 4th Echelon team, the new Echelon Assault Class has access to the SC-4000 Assault Rifle, Proximity Mines and a Sonar Pulse ability that allows him to see enemies behind walls at a short-range distance. So watch out, Ghosts, the Echelon has arrived on the battleground.

AI Teammate Customization is now available for our Campaign Mode, meaning you can now change your team’s outfits to meet your liking.

Our Year 2 Pass grants you early access to all Year 2 Ghost War Classes, and comes with the Splinter Cell Equipment Pack (including the SC-4000 Assault Rifle, Karambit Knife CQC, night Vision Goggles and much more) and 8 Battles Crates.

We will be holding a Free Weekend from April 12th to 15th, where all Campaign and Ghost War content will be available to try out. Additionally, all Ghost War Classes will be unlocked for all players during this weekend.



Year 2 Pass

The Year 2 Pass will grant one-week early, direct access to all six Year 2 Classes of the Ghost War PVP Mode. The pass also includes eight Battle Crates (four Spec Ops and four Ghost War Crates), and the Splinter Cell Equipment Pack. Please note, the Splinter Cell Equipment Pack is available only with the Year 2 Pass.

The Splinter Cell Equipment Pack includes:

- The SC-4000 Assault Rifle

- The Five-Seven Blacklist weapon skin

- The Karambit Knife granting players a new, exclusive CQC move thanks to the Echelon Gloves from Blacklist

- The Splinter Cell Costume, also including the Karambit Knife CQC move and Sam Fisher’s Night Vision Goggles

- Two new Night Vision Goggles with their own night vision filter, with a flip-down animation

- 3 new weapon cammos

To activate the Karambit Knife CQC, the Echelon Gloves or Splinter Cell Costume must be equipped.

NEW CONTENT | CAMPAIGN

Splinter Cell Special Challenge

The free Splinter Cell Special Challenge will be available for all players for one month, starting on April 10th. The rewards for completing this mission are Sam Fisher’s Night Vision Goggles with their own Splinter Cell vision and a Splinter Cell Patch. The mission will still be accessible after the challenge is over, but the rewards will no longer be available. The mission starts in La Cruz.

AI Teammate Customization

In our Campaign Mode, AI Teammates outfits can now be customized via the Charactersmith menu. Please note that the gender, face and weapons cannot be customized via Charactersmith.

GAME MODES

We've introduced a new game mode called Sabotage, available in both Quickplay and Ranked playlists.

Sabotage

In Sabotage, teams take turns in defending or attacking two radio transmitters. The attackers must activate one radio transmission and defend it until it finishes, while the defenders must either stop the transmission or prevent the activation in the first place.

The Sabotage game mode comes with 5 new maps: Library, Zinc Mine, Unidad F.O.B., Trainyard, and Rocha. They are all available for both Quickplay and Ranked modes.

CLASSES

We've added a new Assault class called Echelon. This is available one-week early with the Year 2 Pass, and can also be purchased with Prestige Credits.

Echelon: The Echelon Class is equipped with Ultra High Frequency Sonar Goggles, standard equipment to Fourth Echelon agents. When activated, it sends sonar pulses that reveal enemy players in his vicinity for a short time. This allows the Echelon to gain tactical advantage over its enemies, especially when used under low-visibility situations like nighttime or inside smoke clouds. Also, the ability's range is greatly reduced while moving, so keep still for maximum effect. The Echelon also comes equipped with the brand new proximity mines.

Medic: We have replaced the Medic's mines with flashbangs.

Tech: We have replaced the Tech's C4 with proximity mines.

Pointman: We have reduced the damage output of his ACR and AK-12 by small amounts to bring them to a similar level and balance the class.

PERKS

We've introduced one new Marksman perk called Hollow Point Ammo.

Hollow Point Ammo: The Hollow Point Ammo perk applies bleeding damage over time, for 90 seconds, with every bullet hit. If the enemy is already affected by it, every bullet that hits will refresh the duration. Additionally, while the effect is active, Battle Rage and Adrenaline Rush will not regenerate health. Interacting with a supply crate will remove the bleeding effect.

RANKED

Rating Decay: We've introduced Rating Decay which applies when players are not participating in Ranked matches for a set amount of time. The decay makes a player's rating go down on a daily basis which often leads to rank demotion, though it stops applying for players that are Silver or Bronze. To prevent this from happening, players must be active in Ranked matches on a regular basis.

Rewards: We've increased the amount of Prestige Credits that are awarded at the end of the season.

OTHER IMPROVEMENTS

Proximity Mine: We've introduced a new type of explosive device, favored by Fourth Echelon agents, called a Proximity Mine. Similar to the C4, it can be attached to walls and other surfaces, and detonates when detecting an enemy in proximity. It cannot be defused and the damage it deals is lower than a regular mine.

Tutorials: The Tutorials page has been re-worked for better visibility and quicker navigation between pages of interest, removing the need to cycle between all pages to reach a certain tutorial.

PVP

ALL Platforms:

- Fixed a rare crash that occurred when joining a match on the fly exactly when another player was placing down the Jammer and quickly leaving the session.,

- Fixed an issue with the Lobby page being visible in the background during the Map Voting page after switching tabs.

- Fixed an issue with the Lobby being shortly visible after the Map Voting ends.

- Fixed an issue with the Setting-up Match page being shortly visible after the Map Voting ends.

- Fixed an issue with the missing collision of the 1st thrown C4/Grenade against reinforced/boarded windows.

- Fixed an issue with Users not being able to see through Guerilla's smoke when using the Thermal Vision.

- Fixed an issue with the Confirmation Window, for cancelling a match, that was triggered multiple times for each previously browsed tabs.

- Fixed a text-clipping issue, for the Arabic localization, on the Round Start notification.

- Fixed an issue with Users not being able to see through Guerilla's smoke when using the Thermal Vision.

- Fixed an issue with the Players not being notified upon being marked by the Intel Tower which was captured by the Stalker class.

- Fixed an issue with the missing VFX/SFX feedback for KO-GAS traps that were triggered below a Player.

- Fixed an issue with the Diversionist Drone SFX not being properly replicated when an Enemy was far away.

- Fixed an issue with the rarity-level not being translated on the Battle Crate Cards.

- Fixed an issue where Assault Classes could survive a full Mortar Strike upon using a Supply Ammo/HP Crate.

- Fixed an issue where Teammates saw the Trapper's KO-GAS ability as a mine, instead of a trap, on the Minimap.

- Fixed an issue on the Customization page where the "Edit" button was being displayed twice.

- Fixed an issue for the Stalker class having the "Unaware" tag upon being marked for leaving the Extraction Safe Zone.

- Fixed an issue for the Trapper's ability not being disabled in the proper order when it was placed multiple times.

- Fixed a collision-break issue for Players revived near certain door models.

- Fixed an issue on the Extraction Mode with the Objective Markers and HVT Cage/NPC icons not being disabled when setting the HUD Options to Off.

- Fixed a rare issue with the Player remaining stuck after his Drone was destroyed immediately after being deployed.

- Fixed a Level Design issue, on the Mountain Village map, where a Player was able to crawl under a rock.

- Fixed an issue with the missing "Unaware" tag for the Players marked by the Stalker class on the Cestina localization.

- Fixed an issue on the Battle Crates Store page with a text, stating that User still has unopened Crates, which was not being properly refreshed.

- Fixed an issue with Players being able to mark from inside the Guerilla's Smoke area.

- Fixed an issue for the Pathfinder's Crossbow SFX not being replicated for Teammates and Enemies.

- Fixed an issue with the Player not receiving Mine damage after being revived by the Medic's Drone.

- Fixed some issues with the KO-GAS having no effect when placed on/near certain objects.

- Fixed an issue with the KO-GAS not stunning proned Enemies.

- Fixed an issue where the User would receive "Unlocked" notifications for already unlocked classes upon purchasing the Season Pass.

- Fixed an issue with friendly explosives remaining stuck to revived Teammates.

- Fixed a collision-brake issue, on the Mountain Village map, which occurred for the Player that revived a Teammate near a certain building.

- Fixed an issue where the equipment would clip through in certain positions for Players using the Bandit Icon.

PC:

- Game performance on AMD GPUs has been improved by 10%. Results may vary based on each specific hardware configuration.

- Fixed an issue on the Institute map with a wall not being displayed, when viewed from afar, on the Medium Draw Distance setting.

- Fixed an Nvidia Freestyle issue where Players would adjust the filters in order to gain unfair advantages during night time

COOP

ALL Platforms:

- Fixed an issue with the SRSA1 Black Widow sniper rifle missing SFX.

- Fixed an issue with a different patch being displayed when using the Raving Rabbids patch.

- Fixed a text-clipping issues for some long-named weapons when viewed in the Statistics Comparison.

- Fixed an issue with some locked weapons not redirecting the User from the Loadout page to the Store.

- Fixed an issue with the PP19 Executioner displaying a different Suppressor model in the Loadout page.

- Fixed a text-issue where the User was not properly informed regarding the Tier 1 Booster activation conditions.

PVE

ALL Platforms:

- Icons bug.
